He’s only ever been at low expectation clubs in the Championship, we were still in an unideal position financially - he made a net profit on transfers. This season we’ve increased the wage bill by a ridiculous amount and spent the best part of £15-20m on intangible assets. When he’s been afforded a full season at clubs with the expectation of promotion, along with the finances to achieve it, he’s done it every single time. It’s a remarkable record.
