@TMSuccessful Miscommunication or they just booked a different lane for that amount. I don't see any value in this approach as a tactic. It may catch eyes but most people would hang up if your being dishonest from the beginning.

Question for brokers. When a rate is posted of let's say $2300 and the carrier reaches out and you proceed to tell them, "Paying $2100"- why? Is it just a mistake/miscommunication between the person who posted and the person giving load details? Is it a tactic? What gives?

@StephenRuhe Might need an extra heat source. Ours will get up to like 450 when it's warm out. 300 if it's below 50.

@StephenRuhe I haven't had to do mine. Id probably let the wife do it since she's the cast iron expert. But basically, sand it. Then cover it in vinegar. Sand again. Then evenly coat it with a high temp oil like tallow or EVOO and back it on at as high of a temp as it'll get.

Last year they sold ~15 chicken dinners per resident... or 40,179 from Friday to Sunday.
