@AdamJGray17 Yeah but isn’t the whole point that they did that in the SEC? If we are really wanting to know who the 12 best teams are at the moment let Vegas set the bracket.

@StephenTjaden I’d put them in as I don’t like punishing the kids BUT they are 12-1……..aren’t playing in their conference title game……and their entire offensive staff is gone. If we are being honest, if this was a team not in the SEC, there is zero chance they’d get in at this point.

The committee can’t put Ole Miss in. They left 13-0 Florida state out because they lost their QB. They gotta stick with what they started…….

Final Story time from the book: The girls and I never thought we would be writing the final story time from the book! Our hearts are broken and this is the hardest story we will ever have to tell. 💔 My husband, our dad, our best friend, Dave, passed away last night. Dave was more than someone behind the counter. He was a constant, a voice you trusted, the guy who knew the line before the books did, the one sharing stories from the book, the guy who could make you laugh even when the game was a bad beat. But to us, he was our everything. At home, Dave was not only talking point spreads and lines, he was teaching us about life. About loyalty, about standing tall in tough moments, about showing up with integrity no matter the odds. He filled our days with humor, love, and endless lessons, the kind you only learn from someone who truly lived life with his whole heart. Our chapter with him here ended too soon, but the book of his life is overflowing with memories, laughter, and love. Those pages are written forever, and we’ll carry them with us every single day. To family, friends, colleagues, and the BvB Brigade — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving him alongside us. He was proud of every story he told and every connection he made with all of you. We promise to do our best to keep those connections alive, because they meant so much to him, and now they mean even more to us. Rest easy, to The Consig, The Book, and our hero! @trevor__arnold Credit to Davenport West but there is no way umpires and administrators should have the responsibility to end a game early nor should they put in that position. Imagine a home team saying the field “isn’t playable” after a storm comes through.

@StephenTjaden It supposedly isn’t the rule and it should be. Nobody should end a season like that. Especially a Senior in the last game of their career.

This can’t be correct. That is ridiculous and I am livid if I am PV. I wouldn’t leave that field even if a tornado came. The baseball god’s won’t be happy with this one.

Serious question to all high school coaches/media: how many, if any, flop calls have you seen actually called? Officials, how many have you called? I’ve watched upwards of 30 games, and I have yet to see one called, though I see plenty of flops each game. Just curious. #iahsbkb
