@mangonui08 The decision to close the refinery was first raised before 2019. So why didn't the National Govt stop it from going further at that point???? The final decision was made in 2021. National had the chance to take over the refinery and didn't, so how about you have a go at them

Solar & wind to manage hydro storage - EV everything diesel for transition
