Radio NZ is hammering this very minor issue. Why?? It affected a very small number of teens and no one was harmed as a result. Meanwhile how many unvaccinated teens died of Covid? Hipkins denies misleading public over Covid vaccine risk to teens rnz.co.nz/news/political…

Dear Minister of Immigration Erica Stanford send this racist billionaire back to Guatemala. stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360956…

MIA: “there are two other potential reasons for Luxon’s absence: Either he cannot recognise the opportunity a crisis presents to make a leader; or a risk calculation has been done that he would be more damaging than helpful to the response”. Ouch 😣 stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360957…

Luxon has once again shown us why he is no leader. In an international fuel crisis of a magnitude never before seen, he doesn't show & leaves it to others. He'd have put his foot in it if he had. He's started to realize he's not up to the job. Where were his selfies taken today?

Something to take into consideration with all the stirring over myocarditis.

Shame Jones , not only a liar but also a hypocrite. Manky cur is a kind description of this man

Seriously @simonjbridges no to working from home !?" WTF is wrong with these people. It's a no brainer. Again ideology and tribalism over simple f'ing pragmatism. @NZNationalParty backed themselves into a corner with their irresponsible support for the #Atlas aligned Covidiot astroturfing narrative. Responsible crisis management became "totalitarian govt"... Now they cant do anything because "That's what Labour did" - clinging to their cookers and rabid right wing luddite fossilised voters like a life raft because they're haemorrhaging in the polls, as a result their appalling economic management and amazing disappearing tax cuts. -tax cuts that went largely to wealthiest, were never affordable, and have led to record borrowing and investment cuts that tanked the recovery. This inevitably means their management of the fuel crisis will also fail. Far from being "back on track" - this is a slow motion train wreck. Based on the current trajectory, the logical outcome is that they will lose miserably at the next election. #nzpol

CONFIRMED: Iran is on the verge of wiping out Israel. The PM office is malfunctional, the Mossad has been reduced to urchins while the IDF is facing a total burnout. The multilayer defense systems collapsed, the main international airport shut down. Israelis are under shelters.

Shane Jones will fine The Daily Blog $50 000?!?! The Fisheries Amendment Bill that is being rammed through Parliament with very little attention is a travesty that protects the exploiters, not the ocean or fisheries! #nzpol LINK BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️

@chrisluxonmp Why isn't Prime Minister Luxon leading New Zealand's response to the global fuel crisis? Nicola Willis is leading the media conference in the Beehive. Is she our defacto Prime Minister? What the hell is going on?

Not bad, but if really serious, the author also would be pointing out that this is a really dumb time to go on indulging our eccentric foreign minister’s and rookie PM’s flirtation with estrangement from China. Even if they are too prejudiced and ignorant to want to return to the previous forty years of constructive relationship building with China under successive governments of all stripes, you would think they could understand that a bit of “brutal and amoral realpolitik” would be in order.

I cannot believe how dumb this current government is it beggars belief they actually got elected without "help". Just saying!

@actparty You are ACTing as tho that debt is someone else's fault. Grant Robertson said the tax cuts could not be afforded, along with all the other spending. But you did it anyway. One term. No wonder Brooke is bolting.

Laughable "plan" - essentially only saying there could be undefined fuel rationing at some point in the future. It's a Keep Calm and Carry On poster with way too many words

Outrageous that Luxon allowed this to happen! Another Fail for him. The 6% party, appealing to antivaccine conspiracy theorists in election year makes important health policy for our whole country! Two ministers rejected WHO changes – but can't agree why newsroom.co.nz/2026/03/26/two…

Too much nutrients going into the Waikato River, largely from intensive dairy. When the regional council tried to reduce the nutrients with Plan Change 1 in 2016, agribusiness fought against. The reductions are now weakened, and still in court. @Fonterra rnz.co.nz/news/in-depth/…
