So strange to be walking around in America filled with worry and excitement for the hostage release tomorrow, and knowing that most people around me aren’t thinking of it at all. It’s times like this when I miss home the most, knowing that there everyone can’t think or talk about anything else.

Immigrants and asylum seekers are human beings, not bargaining chips. It’s shameful that the Biden Administration and my colleagues in Congress are comfortable bargaining their rights and safety for more funding for bombs, weapons, and war crimes.

@miradulescu @streetwize Public schools have erased history. They don’t teach it anymore. My daughter is a freshman and no history classes from the school. She learns it from home and throughout our travels.

Steven Spielberg will be, again, the voice of a jewish people tragedy. After his masterpiece about the Holocaust, “Schindler’s List” (no8 in the Top “100 Best Movies” in history and 7 Oscars), Spielberg has a team on the ground to document the #Oct7Massacre . Too bad that the American teenagers, in a scary procentage, think that Holocaust it’s just a myth and…just a movie. I think the American educational system is too rotten to even correct this. @truthandfiction I’m Christian and can’t stop thinking about Israel and what all Jewish people are going through. The world changed Oct 7th and we can’t go back.

I keep speaking to my Jewish friends, pulling away from my non-Jewish friends as I assume they think I’m going insane for not being able to think about anything but Israel for the past 6 weeks. I used to care about all manner of things, be frivolous and fun and loving and exciting and now, I’m quiet, angry and sad. I pull away, and they don’t follow.
