Microsoft just banned its own engineers from using AI. The tool was literally costing MORE than the humans it was supposed to replace. They lied to you about AI adoption and now the whole narrative is blowing up: Microsoft gave thousands of engineers access to Claude Code six months ago and encouraged them to use it. Engineers loved it and adoption exploded. But then the invoices arrived. Token-based pricing means every query, every code review, every debugging session costs money. At scale across 100,000 engineers, the numbers became so large that Microsoft issued an internal order to cancel nearly all Claude Code licenses by end of June and force everyone onto their own cheaper tool instead. The company that invested $5 billion in Anthropic just told its own people to stop using Anthropic's product because it costs too much. Uber's story is even worse... Their CTO Praveen Neppalli Naga told The Information that the budget he planned for the full year was "blown away already" by April. Uber had rolled out Claude Code in December 2025. By March, 84% of their 5,000 engineers were using it with 70% of all committed code coming from AI systems. Heavy users were burning $500 to $2,000 per month each. Naga himself spent $1,200 in a single two-hour demo session. The company had even built internal leaderboards ranking engineers by how much AI they used. They literally gamified the spending and then ran out of money. Now look at what Nvidia's own VP of applied deep learning Bryan Catanzaro said to Axios last month. Direct quote: "For my team, the cost of compute is far beyond the costs of the employees." This is a VP at the company that SELLS the chips saying that using AI is more expensive than paying humans. Think about what this means for the entire AI narrative. Every CEO on every earnings call for the past two years has said the same thing: AI will make us more efficient, reduce headcount, and cut costs. The stock market rewarded every company that said it. Fired workers, stock goes up. Announced AI adoption, stock goes up. But the actual companies deploying AI at scale are discovering the math doesn't work. The MORE employees use AI, the HIGHER the bill. Goldman Sachs forecasts a 24x increase in token consumption by 2030 as companies adopt AI agents. Gartner just published a report showing that even though individual token prices will drop 90% by 2030, total enterprise AI costs will go UP because agents consume exponentially more tokens per task than basic tools. Meta built an internal dashboard called "Claudeonomics" to track which employees use the most AI. Amazon started pushing engineers to "tokenmaxx," their internal term for consuming as many AI tokens as possible. Both companies are spending hundreds of billions on AI infrastructure this year alone. And Microsoft, the company that bet its entire future on AI, just told 100,000 engineers to stop using the tool they liked best because the per-token bills got out of control. The companies building AI are telling investors it saves money. The companies using AI are finding out it costs more than the humans it was supposed to replace. And even the company that makes the chips just admitted it through its own VP. This is the gap nobody on Wall Street is pricing in. $725 billion in AI infrastructure spending this year across Big Tech. And the first companies to actually deploy these tools at scale are already pulling back because the economics don't work. What do you think?

The real welfare queen in America is Jeff Bezos, worth $279 billion, who pays wages so low his workers rely on food stamps and Medicaid while he sailed on his $500 million yacht to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring because his tax rate is less than 1%.

You reduce crime by eliminating poverty. The reason so called nice neighborhoods have lower crime rates is because people’s basic needs are being met. It is not because of police, alarm systems, or neighborhood associations. Poverty creates crime.

@MetamateDaz Its even worse when you can recognise the control elements put in place by man. Religion and Politics. The sky fairy. Democracy. The illusion of having some say in it all. Would have been fascinating if we had two planets...one run by woman and one run by men.

You’re born onto a planet you never asked to exist on… and society immediately hits you with: “Okay, now go earn the right to eat, sleep, rest, and have shelter.” Like… zoom out for a second. We’re floating on a rock in infinite space and we created a game where you have to spend most of your life working just to not starve or freeze to death. The whole concept is actually insane when you think about it.

The Israeli meltdown over a potential Iran-U.S. deal is happening across their political spectrum, with a major focus on Lebanon. They are openly furious at the possibility that they may no longer have a free hand to bomb Lebanon whenever they want. But it’s not only Israel’s most ardent supporters who are pissed. Lebanese factions aligned with Washington are also upset because they viewed Israeli military aggression against the south as a way to crush their domestic political rival, Hezbollah, after failing to defeat it politically or democratically. It’s like Israeli bombs became their extreme version of gerrymandering. Nothing exposes the true nature of this alliance more than watching people who constantly lecture about “sovereignty” make excuses for a foreign military devastating their own country in order to reshape its internal politics, and then cry when Iran attempts to stop the bombs. You know a deal is probably moving in the right direction when some of the worst people in the world are furious about the prospect of it.

🚨 INTERNATIONAL ACTIVISTS SAY THEY WERE RAPED IN ISRAEL Innocent activists from the global aid Flotilla are now reporting that they were sexually abused and even raped by Israeli forces. Where is the outrage? The investigations? The sanctions? Imagine this was Iran or Russia. The west doesn’t care if they rape Palestinians. But now we see they don’t care if they rape their own citizens. If they rape YOU. This is the result of letting a state commit genocide with ZERO consequence. That is why the media is IGNORING this.

FIDEL CASTRO: "For 15 years we were there fighting apartheid, fighting racism till the very end. They said that we had to be imposed a blockade... because we were fighting the South African racists. South Africa was not prevented from purchasing food and medicines. And the country that was heroically fighting against the racists was not sold one medicine, one aspirin, one cytostatic for a cancer patient. That was the punishment." "There was a moment when the war was practically lost. And then we, the Cubans, we had to solve the problem. It was when the Cuito Cuanavale battle took place. You know how many troops Cuba sent to Angola at that moment? 55,000 troops. And all of them on a voluntary basis." "But at the United Nations, they don't speak about that. They applauded the independence of the African countries... the end of apartheid, as if it was the work and miracle of the United Nations. There was no mention about a single Cuban of the many Cubans who died there. The name of Cuba was not even mentioned. So look how sometimes people intend to write history forgetting reality."

The Cuban embargo has survived 12 presidents, and that doesn't happen by accident Ask who benefits. Follow the money... The Cuban American National Foundation has lobbied for the embargo since 1981. They were modeled after AIPAC. Their founding chairman boasted of editing White House briefings on Cuba. He lobbied Reagan. He lobbied Clinton. He lobbied both parties and both delivered. CANF wrote the Helms-Burton Act in 1996, which made the embargo nearly impossible to lift without an act of Congress. People say Cuba can trade with Europe, and that is technically true, but the US also fines European banks billions of dollars for doing business with Cuba. When a French bank has to choose between the Cuban market and access to the US financial system, it's not a choice. Trump expanded that three weeks ago with executive Order 14404 that imposes secondary sanctions on any foreign bank that processes Cuba-related transactions. So now, the whole world is the embargo. This was never about communism or freedom. It's about a well-funded lobby, Florida votes, and financial coercion dressed up as foreign policy.

Too on point not to share. This is great, but too bad the Orange Felon’s enablers won’t let him see it. This Australian's reply to #Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. 'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth." - Tony Locke

I genuinely don't understand people like Bezos and Musk. If I had billions of dollars, I would just start fixing everything. Homeless veterans sleeping on the streets? Not on my watch. Hungry children going to bed with empty stomachs? Hell no. They could be making life better but instead choose to build spaceships and data centers to pump stocks and destroy the planet
