Sussex Police have detained a man following an incident in Eastbourne town centre. A man was seen striking shopfronts and a bus stop sign before officers intervened. The man appeared to suffer a head injury during the incident.

@ThinkLicence ive even had a local police car refuse to give way to me as I went to step in the road and caused me to stop and I walk with a stick. I know the rules but unfortunately I believe many driver and i mean the majority dont know this rule. We really need to have advertisements on TV.

@SkyNews Not wearing a hard hat on site , no problem, if a brick comes off a scaffold and hits the head,then its hopefully not going to cause too much damage to them,. BUT carrying a knife is not legal and can be lethal in a dodgy persons possession. Same law for all in UK a must.

@GBNEWS Perhaps they should sign on.. Most of the British population in my my day,,[ i'm recently retired] worked straight from secondary school , myself an apprentice sparky on really low wages while learning and no help from government money. Wages got much better when qualified
