The Cubs need to fire jed hoyer and their entire front office and write a blank check to the Tampa Bay Rays' front office. Their scouting and development of prospects, especially pitchers, is elite. The Cubs have been very bad at that for years. A complete overhaul is needed.

At some point you have to stop giving excuses to Jed & this team. Has been 10 seasons now where they haven't played well enough, too many injuries, or terrible F.O. decisions. They aren't going to move on from Jed, but they probably need to. He has proven he isn't good enough.

Someone on this Cubs team needs to be the Batman among Robins. I feel like the Jed Hoyer era has lacked that for the most part, outside of healthy Kyle Tucker, first-half PCA last year, and maybe mid-2023 Cody Bellinger. Too many big slumps on this team year in and year out.
