Went to an Indian restaurant in Bucharest. Waiter saw me with the lichess app. Said he is very good at this game and can for sure beat me. Claims to have "two thousand rating". What do I do?

@Philip_RJ89 @DavidHindmarsh7 Can't believe that he doesn't seem to be in Steve Clarke's thinking for Scotland in World Cup. Would take him over current front men.

@DavidHindmarsh7 Be too big a gamble for them to take. Don’t think they’re into retroactive signings either. It’s bloody good to see him back at his best, though — one of the lads who kicked this whole process into a higher gear.

After selling Ross Stewart to Southampton and going almost three years without replacing Ross Stewart properly, Sunderland should replace Ross Stewart properly this summer by signing Ross Stewart from Southampton.

My last account got hacked & thanks to this app being infuriating can’t seem to get it back. So got this one just in case. #SAFC fans (or anyone who followed my previous account) beware that any tweet to do with crypto currency - isn’t me. Ignore it & report it.

@1968Tv One of the biggest shocks ever. Star studded Leeds, probably the best team in the top division, lost to Sunderland 1-0 a mid-table 2nd division club (Championship team), An unsung hero Ian Porterfield scored the winner. Jim Motgomery made a spectacular double save.

@Capt_Fishpaste @TinklerStephen I know that he's been playing from deep, but he needs to find his shooting boots and add goals to his game if he is to command a really big transfer fee.

I wouldn't begrudge Noah Sadiki a move at all, but he's a £60m minimum player. #SAFC
Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page@sunderlandafc11

United also have what’s understood to be a growing interest in Sunderland star Noah Sadiki, who has himself now seemingly opened the door on a potential summer move… Man Utd target Sadiki refuses to rule out Sunderland move It recently emerged that Sunderland would seek as much as €60m (£52m, $70m) if they were to cash in on Sadiki this summer, who has arguably been the Black Cats’ standout performer in an excellent first season back among the elite for the Wearsiders. Sources have long since confirmed to TEAMtalk that Sadiki is a player of growing interest to United this summer. Understandably, Sunderland would prefer to keep the 21-year-old at the Stadium of Light this summer, though the player himself appears to be doing little to distance himself from speculation over a departure. Having paid a bargain £15m (€17.5m, $21m) over the summer, Regis Le Bris’ side would more than treble their initial outlay should a summer transfer be granted. “It is amazing to experience everything that is happening to me now,” Sadiki said on moving to the Premier League. “Everything went so fast: the transfer to England just after the title in Belgium, and then immediately a starter in England. I haven’t even had time to really realise what has happened since my departure from Union SG. “I talk about Union in England; the English know who they are and couldn’t ignore the performances in the Champions League.” teamtalk.com/manchester-uni…

@Buntingfootball Only discussion about Sunderland was a concensus that Angulo should have had a red card, it was 89th min so unlikely to have affected the result. Nothing about fluid passing etc. This is a feature of MOTM, more time spent showing ref waiting for VAR rather than football.

Great analysis on Sunderland on Match of the Day as usual. Not a word on our performance at all there. Haven’t given us much credit this season at all. Focus has been with the opponent or there isn’t much said on either. Found that really poor all about Manchester United #SAFC

One thing is for damn sure after a game like that: this has to serve as a character-building experience for these lads — and most certainly for Habib Diarra. They can’t allow it to crush them. They need to learn from it and keep improving. The bigger picture is key. #SAFC

It would be the most spectacularly beautiful turn of events if Newcastle end the season with Jack Ross or Robbie Stockdale as caretaker manager.

@Terry94023972 I was at that game. In the Roker End. I seem to remember Liverpool players almost apologising when (I think) Chris Lawler scored a grass cutter at the Fulwell End. The previous home game was a 0-0 against Everton (who won the league). A win in either would have kept us up
