Took a risk with Edward Cabrera. I admit I really liked the idea. Needed a dude with stuff. Pitching can change and evolve, but so far the investment has been disastrous. It’s gone from “meh” to non-competitive. A lot of your rotation is non-competitive right now.

@BornOnThirdCubs Personally I think he’s more valuable at 2. The bigger concern is your middle of the lineup is putrid. Make an argument about moving up either catcher up in addition to the DH whoever that may be. This Bregman, Happ, Suzuki combination isn’t working.

I will say this. I do think PCA has to be in the middle of the lineup moving forward.
