Here is why the #Cubs suck: Bregman: 6-40, 3 RBIs Busch: 6-34, 2 RBIs PCA: 8-38, 3 RBIs Swanson: 4-32, 5 RBIs Combined .167 average and 13 RBIs through 10 games. That’s not gonna cut it guys.

@SamOlbur These first 15 games of the year were a great opportunity to pile on 10+ wins against an easy schedule. Now you’re hoping for maybe 7 wins over this stretch. Unacceptable.

The only real long term concern I have is that when the Cubs start playing better and they will, they're going to be against much tougher teams and still are probably going to drop games. Like, the 16 game stretch against LAD, PHI, NYM, SD.. 8-8 would be good but they're 4-6 now

@Cubbieblue97 As you should. He had a fluke couple months early last season. Other than that he’s been completely inept as a MLB hitter. He’s gotta figure it out ASAP or that contract is going to look AWFUL.

@SamOlbur It’s ok, by July they’ll have their bullpen figured out. At which point they’ll already be 13 games behind Milwaukee.

So it's pretty clear Phil Maton bas bumped from high leverage duty. He wasn't used yesterday with a lead and now is being used down a run.

By rule, if the #Cubs offense scores runs, their pitcher must instantly allow the opponent to get those runs right back. So stupid.

A 4-5 start to the season facing the Nationals, Angels, and Guardians. Meanwhile the Brewers find ways to win games every day no matter who is on their team or who they’re facing. These 2 organizations are miles apart. #Cubs

Down 1 in 9th, tying run at 3rd, usually you’d be happy with your cleanup hitter up. Instead with the #Cubs you get Carson Kelly.

@chifanpatt2 Sadly, even at 3-0, the second Imanaga walked that leadoff man in the 6th, this game felt like it was doomed.

Had control of this one and gave it away. What a damn shame.

When Jacob Webb is the guy you’re going to in the 8th inning of a 1-run game, this is what happens. Good grief. Now the offense has to score another run if they want to win this game. Not ideal. #Cubs

Bregman needs to start earning that contract soon. We would have been better off just rolling with Shaw at 3rd. His defense has been worse than Shaw and he can’t hit. #Cubs

@SamOlbur The Brewers could pull a person out of stands and throw him on the mound and he would do better than Ben Brown.

The brewers are locked and loaded at 7-2 and we’re still trying to experiment with Ben Brown. Time for another walk.
