The comms on this have been appalling. @sewateruk send emails about hosepipe bans but i haven’t received a single email on this topic. Has anyone else? What happens if someone is hospitalised as a result of poor quality water and SEW’s failure to notify customers?

Just hearing on BBC Today programme that water supply to be restored for all at midday but not to be used for drinking! Can this be true? Personally, I'd welcome that rather than have no water. Worried how everyone will be told. Not all on social media.

@ThreshedThought SEW are now saying there has been a recurrence of the original water quality issue, it looks as though restoration of supply is going to be delayed further and some restored supplies lost again. This now requires decisive government action on the grounds of public health.

@HMRCcustomers I have been trying to ring HMRC all day. I keep being hung up on. There is an error in my tax code for 24-25, I have a deduction of £3k+ for child benefit. My son is 22 and we haven't claimed CB for 4 years! All prev years accounted for in self-assessment.

@HMRCcustomers Each time I ring you tell me irrelevant things for 5-6 mins, take my NI no, DOB, post code etc, then say no one is available and hang up. A pretty useless service frankly.
