❤️ This is Mark, he has spent over 10 years doing what he loves most — coaching. It’s not just something he does… it’s his passion, his purpose. Then cancer changed everything. After radiotherapy, his voice box was badly damaged and had to be removed. He can no longer speak. Something most of us take for granted — gone. And at one point, he genuinely thought he’d never be able to coach again. But he refused to let that be the end of his story. Today, Mark is back on the pitch — coaching Washington AFC U14 girls and Seaham U14 girls, four days a week. Doing what he loves. It’s different now. No shouting from the sidelines. No team talks in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s tactics boards, patience, eye contact, and players who have stepped up in an incredible way — learning to read his lips, taking the time to understand, and giving that same commitment back. That’s what real resilience looks like. Not just surviving… but adapting. Finding a way forward when everything changes. Refusing to give up on what you love. Mark may have lost his voice — but he hasn’t lost his passion, his leadership, or his impact. And if anything… he’s louder than ever.

Indeed - who are @UKLabour representing? It’s certainly not workers after disasters at Grangemouth, Port Talbot and the despicable treatment of workers in Birmingham. It’s not retirees, wielding the axe to vital benefits for many at the first opportunity, and selling out WASPI women And it’s not the poor, unemployed or disabled; doing nothing during a cost of living crisis to reign in profiteers while attacking benefits.
