@analyzingfutbol Same. I think those two are 2ish years away? Depending on how we want to use Dorgu will determine if its LW/LB. Could sign another LWB and push them to be a diverse player. But personally I'd rather sign an older LB to play with Shaw and allow the younger guys to get minutes.

People legit told me last summer that a LB/LWB wasn’t needed because we signed Leon. I tried to tell people he would need time. Same with amass. We’ve been insanely lucky that Shaw has been fit this season.

@StevenREvans Really, Bayern is the only club I see as a potential option on wages outside of England right now that is also considering a player in these roles but Kompany wouldn’t take his defensive work rate imo. It’s just an issue anywhere he could look to go.

Genuinely, if not Barca, where do people think Rashford would move to next season? I don’t think him staying at MUFC to cover as a LW/ST is out of the question honestly. Especially if Carrick is the manager.

@StevenREvans I just think he was set on Barca, if that doesn’t happen why would he take a sizable pay cut somewhere else when he doesn’t have to? I’d rather have a happy and firing Rashford than ice him out and still be paying or subsidizing his wages

@AliceTalksFooty @AdamJoseph Well to break even on Ugarte financially we have to sell him for 30-35m and we can probably get 15-20 at best based on wages so seems like bad business given where the club is financially and how we should sign 2 CMS of better quality
