@StevenStubble @iamnyct0n01r The first half of your comment is pure speculation based on zero scripture (nothing revealed on the topic). Also, the second half - we are eternal beings having a mortal experience. To see what we will choose, when we don't have any prior knowledge influencing us.

@Faustzme In that regard yes. The idea is identical, that God would send a "prophet", to correct all the ways people have misunderstood their own book. Go figure.

@StevenStubble That’s true but the angel of light bringing another gospel and teaching that the scripture has been corrupted needing a prophet to restore the truth, polygamy, marriage of little girls, the prophet as a military leader, etc.

I don’t think any miracle large or small diminishes the power of God. I’ve seen both. In my case, I was healed on the spot from a kidney stone. It was the moment after he stated “In the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you that you will be healed” This miracle was not performed in front of a crowd, on a stage, or to be seen of men. It occurred when I was in crippling pain, halfway around the world, with no access to healthcare. God healed me in that moment. It is a special and sacred experience that I cherish dear to me, and I thank God for that experience.

Apparently Jesus can: - Be conceived from a Virgin - Heal the sick and the blind - Raise the dead - Be God of the Old Testament prior to his condescension - Be raised from the dead - Turn water to wine - Help a man walk on water - Etc But Jesus cannot: - Visit and teach the Gospel to other parts of the world when He was here - Call Prophets today like He did of old and give ongoing revelation Yet, “our” God is limited? Got it.

About a Heavenly Mother I said “we don’t explicitly teach it.” And that is true. It is on our website, our leaders have spoken about it in General Conferences (although rarely) but we don’t have Sunday School on it and it is rarely discussed because we know so little about her. But reason extends that she exists because of the way our Father created us, to exist in families. To your point she is not mentioned in the Bible. Is everything you believe or are taught mentioned in the Bible? Are your creeds mentioned in the Bible?

In a sense this is true. Migrants are blamed to distract us from the Marxists who’ve taken over and who use mass immigration as a weapon against the West.

Heavenly Mother is necessary for the whole Mormon narrative about "spirit Children" and eternal "celestial marriages" -- but who knows if shes there?

@StevenStubble @BlackBlessedLDS I was told my now 17 year old wasn’t going to walk and would be in a wheelchair his entire life. He was given a healing miracle member of our faith and he now walks and his favorite this to do is play soccer.

Easy, let’s set the appointment with the missionaries to teach you and get this process going! These verses don’t refer to Heavenly Mother but we don’t explicitly teach that, nor do we say we are explicitly born of the Father. He is the creator our spirits, but we existed as intelligences prior to that. What these verses do highlight is that we existed before we were born, a fact that is completely lost in “mainstream” Christian religions.
