I think with so many wins always being what you see, many people, especially outside this industry don't realize just how much work it takes. I booked nothing the past few months. Just auditions. (Though I have also been in a play so a lot of my time went to that and the day job.

Transparency: April was not a good month for me. The only gig I landed was something I was working on for months. Positive thing, I revamped my demo with Erin. I think it's important to share these moments, not just the wins. Acting is a tough business, but just keep going. 💜

Voice Actors, Does your family support your decision to do voiceovers? Mine absolutely doesn't...! They are waiting for me to fail and pack it in. Become a full-time teacher, so I've heard. If your fam unconditionally does, all the way. Don't *EVER* take it for granted~

I love living in an apartment. Been trying to record some auditions before the hell that is my day job shift today, (one of the busiest days of the year for us,) and the upstairs neighbors are shouting and throwing things in what has become a 2 hour long argument. Tomorrow it is.

The way this website will try to tear down every single person who shows they are remotely successful is honestly really sad. The people using the feigned outrage to try and raise their own profiles is severely cringe worthy. Just stop it. Not sure if most folks know this, but people make mistakes. All of us are human. We all fall short occasionally - even you.

Okay.... Y'all I'm tired. It's time for that talk again. VIDEO GAME VOICE ACTORS: If you're accepting bottom of the barrel rates, you'll get JUST that. I know many actors (especially new) aren't informed, respected, or paid fairly - and don't feel they have a choice.

I've recorded for all these companies, games, dubs, audiobooks, etc--& more in the barrel!--in my home studio. I've only ever recorded 2 audiobooks & 1 scratch track in outside studios! Remote recording allows for a wider talent pool & better accommodation for everyone!!
