Some people need to chill out on the criticism of #Preds not moving Ryan O'Reilly. 1. He wants to be here and is a leader this young core needs. 2. They actually shopped him and didn't get what they wanted. 3. I've always said for months to not desperately give him away.

That’s a really really really disappointing trade deadline from barry trotz, even more so after some of those answers at the presser. Had a chance to actually right some wrongs but instead reverted right back into the same mistakes this franchise has always made

The incident happened on July 22, 2008, during filming in New Mexico. Cinematographer Shane Hurlbut accidentally walked through a lighting setup and into the shot while director McG was rolling a take. Bale — already known for his intense method-acting approach — completely lost it. The full leaked audio (about 4 minutes long) captures Bale unleashing a profanity-laced tirade at Hurlbut, screaming things like: • “You’re amateur! You’re f***ing amateur!” • “Do you want me to go and do it again? Do you want me to f***ing go and do another one?” • “I’m trying to do my f***ing job here!” He repeatedly called Hurlbut an “idiot” and threatened to walk off set, saying he’d quit if it happened again. The rant went viral when it was leaked online in February 2009 (just months before the film’s release) by someone who had secretly recorded it on set. Bale later issued a public apology, saying: “I acted like a complete ass. I deeply regret the outburst and the language used… I was out of order and I apologize to Shane and everyone on set.” Hurlbut accepted the apology, saying it was a one-off moment and they moved on professionally. The film itself underperformed critically and commercially, and the leaked rant became one of the most famous on-set meltdowns ever (alongside Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible tirade or David O. Russell’s Three Kings outburst).

#Preds only added one draft pick in 2026 after all these talks about selling. Also only acquired one prospect. So in a lot of ways, Trotz didn't do much of anything except move some UFAs that weren't part of the bigger picture. You can argue Blankenburg could've been.

To the barrage going toward the US hockey team for its complete lack of class & total misogyny after it won, I will add the obvious. They got outplayed by Canada for 2 1/2 periods, didn’t deserve to win, & the goalie, who didn’t seem to be the biggest loudmouth, kept them in it.
