I understand entirely why people don’t support them, just not why they hate a whole country of people or Jews collectively. Some of the worst acts of our government over the last 50 years were caused by some of the most avowed supporters of Israel and self proclaimed Zionists. There is a massively disproportionate level of influence they have on American politics as such a small country and American Jews such a small percentage of the population. These are facts. When you deny these facts because you’re afraid of accidentally agreeing with or being called a Nazi, what you do is enable the real ones by leaving them the only ones in the room willing to acknowledge this. Then they add on all their weird pagan racial hate mob stuff.

I do think all of those are definitely possible but the same could be said of alcohol or even excessive nicotine and caffeine depending who you ask. I do think bringing down cartel groups is important enough that any shipment even just cannabis should be shut down. Hell I don’t care if they’re smuggling black market Colombian coffee, they should be condemned by their nature.

There is plenty of legitimate criticism of how Israel initially got that land. If they had taken it five or ten years ago I would have to agree that Arabs have a right to take it back. Now it’s the better part of a century later and almost no living Israeli had anything to do with this, nor did any living Palestinian ever hold that land. As it stands Israel does not have a very large piece of land and it’s disingenuous for the Arabs around them to pretend that they absolutely must have that particular tiny piece of land back. They want them gone because they’re Jews, and more broadly becuase they’re not Muslims. Problem is the Israeli leadership is as genocidal as any Muslim and wants the Muslims gone becuase they’re not Jews. Taking a side in this is insanity.

Yet Jeanne's legacy extended far beyond the war. She had a special gift for encouraging young girls, reminding them that no dream was too big and no obstacle too great. In one of life's poignant moments, just days before her passing, Jeanne was celebrated with a Wall of Honor banner at the park she loved so dearly and recognized during a San Jose Earthquakes halftime ceremony honoring Bay Area heroes. It was a fitting tribute to a woman whose life was defined by selfless service, quiet strength, and extraordinary grace. Though Jeanne has taken her final flight, her legacy will never fade. It lives on in every story she shared, every young person she inspired, every life she touched, and in the enduring example of courage she leaves behind.
