When I travel outside of Ukraine, I get daily intelligence updates online. This morning, I was briefed that U.S. military facilities in the Middle East and the Gulf region were photographed by Russian satellites in the interests of Iran. On March 24th, they imaged the U.S.–UK joint military facility on Diego Garcia located in the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. They also captured pictures of Kuwait International Airport and parts of the infrastructure of the Greater Burgan oil field. On March 25th, they took pictures of the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The Shaybah oil and gas field in Saudi Arabia, İncirlik Air Base in Türkiye, and Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar were all imaged on March 26th. There are no Ukrainian facilities on this list. But who is helping whom when sanctions are lifted from an aggressor that earns daily revenue and provides intelligence for strikes against American, Middle Eastern, UK, and U.S.–UK bases and so on? When surveillance is carried out over facilities in Ukraine, we always understand that they must be protected, since plans are in motion to destroy them – energy and water infrastructure, military facilities, and so on. Everyone knows that repeated reconnaissance indicates preparations for strikes. How can sanctions be eased if this is what the Russians are doing? There must be pressure on the aggressor. And lifting sanctions is certainly not pressure. It looks strange. Sanctions are being lifted, while the aggressor is providing intelligence to strike facilities, including those of the countries that are discussing or have already lifted sanctions. الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية تعترض بنجاح 3 صواريخ باليستية و129 طائرة مسيرة أعلنت وزارة الدفاع أن الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية تعاملت اليوم (4 مارس 2026) بنجاح مع 3 صواريخ باليستية ورصدت 129 طائرة مسيرة حيث تم اعتراض 121 طائرة مسيرة بينما سقطت 8 في أراضي الدولة. وأوضحت الوزارة أنه منذ بدء الاعتداء الإيراني السافر تم رصد 189 صاروخاً باليستياً تم إطلاقها تجاه الدولة، حيث تم تدمير 175 صاروخاً، فيما سقط 13 منها في مياه البحر، وصاروخ 1 سقط على أراضي الدولة، كما تم رصد 941 مسيرة إيرانية واعتراض 876 مسيرة، فيما وقعت 65 منها داخل أراض الدولة، كما تم رصد وتدمير عدد 8 صواريخ جوالة، وتسببت في بعض الأضرار الجانبية، كما أسفرت عن 3 حالات وفاة من الجنسية الباكستانية والنيبالية والبنغلادشية و78 حالة إصابة بسيطة من الجنسية الإماراتية، المصرية، السودانية، الاثيوبية، الفلبينية، الباكستانية، الإيرانية، الهندية، البنغلادشية، السيرلانكية، الاذربيجانية، اليمنية، الاوغندية، الارتيرية، اللبنانية والأفغانية. وتؤكد الوزارة أن الأصوات المسموعة في مناطق متفرقة من الدولة هي نتيجة اعتراض كل من منظومات الدفاع الجوي للصواريخ البالستية، والمقاتلات للطائرات المسيرة والجوالة، والذي أدى إلى حدوث أضرار مادية بسيطة ومتوسطة في عدد من الأعيان المدنية. وأدانت الوزارة بأشد العبارات هذا الاستهداف العسكري، معتبرةً ذلك عدواناً سافراً وانتهاكاً صارخاً للسيادة الوطنية وللقانون الدولي، وأن الدولة تحتفظ بحقها الكامل في الرد على هذا التصعيد واتخاذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية أراضيها وشعبها والمقيمين فيها، وبما يضمن صون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها ويحمي مصالحها ومقدراتها الوطنية. وأكدت وزارة الدفاع أنها على أهبة الاستعداد والجاهزية للتعامل مع أية تهديدات، وأنها تتخذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة للتصدي بحزم لكل ما يستهدف زعزعة أمن الدولة واستقرارها، وأضافت أن سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين والزوار تمثل أولوية قصوى لا يمكن التهاون فيها. وتهيب الوزارة بالجمهور الكريم استقاء المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية في الدولة، وتجنب تداول الشائعات أو المعلومات غير الموثوقة. #وزارة_الدفاع #وزارة_الدفاع_الإماراتية #MOD #UAEMinistryOfDefence
