.@networkrail killing birds again! 😡 Network Rail's netting is trapping pigeons alive under a Brighton bridge — and this isn't the first time. Witnesses have reported seeing birds flapping helplessly inside the netting beneath New England Road bridge, with no way out. Some have been found dead. Network Rail temporarily closed the road to remove the birds — then repaired the same netting. “While the intention might have been to manage bird habitats, the result has been outright cruelty and environmental harm” says petition starter, Mark Richard.
