In recent days, @BostonDefender David Yannetti has made baseless allegations about my work and Boston magazine. Contrary to his claims in numerous tweets, we issued two clarifications, including one providing additional context around a text message between himself and Aidan Kearney. We stand 100 percent behind the in-depth reporting and fact-checking in the story. Concerned citizens await his responses to facts revealed about his professional conduct and participation in the campaign to acquit Karen Read.

@MarshallMinded @AlexBerenson Ioannidis' take on Covid has been at complete odds with the actual death numbers in the U.S. since March 2020, and what he says in that video is false - it's totally irreconcilable with the number of people who died in the U.S. between 2020 and 2026.

"Otherwise not have died?" Most Americans who died from Covid would be dead today if Covid had never happened. Those were VERY sick people. But a lot who died from the overdose/homicide lockdown waves would still be alive. We sacrificed the young for the old and sick. Congrats!
James Surowiecki@JamesSurowiecki

Covid killed a million people in three years who would otherwise not have died. It would be weird for people not to find that at least a little scary.

@ConsiderMeDunn @EROBoston This foreign national pays taxes. This person is why we American people get free everything in Massachusetts. This is why Democrats love foreign nationals: they are rich and have a great education, and create jobs for Americans

#Breaking: An illegal immigrant from #Haiti has been apprehended by ICE Boston @EROBoston in southeastern #Massachusetts after being arrested in Fall River on child porn, assault, and extortion charges in June and released by local officials. This as Gov. Maura Healey @MassGovernor is expected to sign into law this week a bill that would limit @ICEgov capabilities and operations in the state. #Massachusetts #Healey #FallRiver #immigration #politics #Haiti bostonherald.com/2026/08/03/ice…

Massachusetts’ infrastructure has faced one weather-induced stress test after another this year. A new statewide assessment now suggests that struggles to endure these events are warning signs of a broader problem. trib.al/ij5ftB5

Tonight at 7pm, my partner @EdMarkey takes the debate stage as the only candidate who is a champion for workers and families in Massachusetts. Let's send him back to the Senate so we can continue delivering for our communities.

As antisemitism continues to rise around the world, the Maimonides statue in Plaza de Tiberíades, in the Jewish quarter of Córdoba, Spain, was targeted with antisemitic graffiti. Maimonides, also widely known as the Rambam, remains one of Judaism's towering figures. Born in Córdoba in 1135 and died in 1204 in Egypt, he was a philosopher, rabbi, and physician whose legacy and impact are still felt today. He is buried in Tiberias, northern Israel. Spain's National Police are investigating the incident. @malcolmecks

And yes, I am still fighting for my - and your - First Amendment rights by suing @AlbertBourla @ScottGottliebMD of Pfizer for their roles conspiring to silence me in 2021. The federal Second Circuit will hear my appeal very soon. Support the appeal here! givesendgo.com/g9x98

From Worcester to the Merrimack Valley, Massachusetts knows what’s possible with fare-free transit. My new report with @RepPressley shows that going fare free saves money, grows ridership & simplifies transit. We must pass the Freedom to Move Act so communities can go fare free.

@JenniferNassour Massachusetts should not be in the Healthcare business. The state should run a state mental Asylum Hospital For Long-term care only.

Massachusetts residents aren't asking for more political theater; they're asking for tax relief. We already pay enough. Maybe it's time the Legislature focused on making this state affordable instead of creating new distractions.

@JamesSurowiecki This is you at your middest mid, James. I said they'd be dead BY NOW, and they would be. The average life expectancy of people who died from Covid was probably 12-18 months; the average age of Covid death in Europe was about 83, and Covid wasn't selecting randomly.

This was the truth about mRNA vaccine failure on August 14, 2021. It is the truth today. The fact that 60 percent of the country has been brainwashed not to believe doesn't make it less true: Throughout July and August, vaccine advocates have tried to blame these trends on fact that the United States has not hit the vaccine benchmarks they hoped. They have incorrectly called this current outbreak a pandemic of the unvaccinated. That argument has one problem. Israel and Britain - which have essentially reached the vaccination levels that advocates promised were necessary for herd immunity - are having even worse outbreaks this summer. In Israel, 60 percent of the entire population and 80 percent of adults are fully vaccinated. In Britain, almost 90 percent of adults have received at least one dose and 76 percent have received both. Yet positive tests and serious hospitalizations in Israel have risen 20-fold since early July. Hospitalized patients and patients on ventilators in Britain have risen sevenfold since early June and are far higher than this time last year. It is still not entirely clear whether the vaccines are failing because of the decrease over time in the antibodies they generate, because the Delta variant is able to elude those antibodies, or some other reason.
Alex Berenson@AlexBerenson

The mRNA Covid vaccines failed. Omicron ended Covid as an epidemic. Had Delta continued into 2022, health authorities would have been in an impossible spot, pushing boosters every five months until even Europeans rebelled. That's the truth. They've spent four years denying it.

The reason the Biden Administration and @Pfizer forced Twitter to ban me two weeks after I wrote this is because I understood what was happening better than anyone and I was explaining it to millions of people a day. That had to end. So they ended it.

August 9, 2021, "Boost the Insanity:: The real-world data - from Israel, the United States, and everywhere else - are clear. Protection from infection fades within months even against the original coronavirus. It shrinks essentially to zero against the Delta variant (we can argue about time vs. variant effects, but the answer doesn’t matter in this context, either way the vaccines have stopped working). For now, vaccine advocates are clinging to the hope that even if the vaccines do not protect against infection, they still provide some protection against more serious illness and death. I think the jury is still out on that question, but again it is largely irrelevant for this conversation - the Covid wards are filling in Israel, and most people in them are older and vaccinated. If the vaccines do offer any help after a few months against serious illness, it is far less than the 95-99 percent protection that advocates have claimed. Thus the move for a third shot. And possibly more shots to come. But please - please! - understand how radical a move this is. At this point, these shots are basically being pushed forward on the basis of VERY early data from VERY small trials - a few dozen volunteers, at most - showing that people had significantly more antibodies a month after receiving a third dose.
