@DonnachadhMc @StopKillingCycl Perfectly put. The nursery school my daughter goes to has huge 4x4s reversing along pavements and idling outside her school gates at pick up and drop off times, and it feels no space is sacred.
LTNs have dramatically improved walking routes in my area, and I'd love to see more.

These crashes happen daily and our media cannot bring themselves to be anything but killer driver apologists with their laissez-faire attitude to reporting these horrors.

Having been in the same room as the police when Harry was given a 1y 8m sentence for killing Maria whilst he was out of his nut on NOx, they aren’t happy with this outcome. He could be free to kill again with a car in less than 3 years 8 months. In devonlive.com/news/devon-new…

The driver was steering with his knees, because he was sucking from a NOx balloon shortly before he killed Maria Gonzalez Perera.
He got a 3y 2m sentence, reduced to 1y 8m.
Police not happy, family distraught.

But, since the first tragedy in this piece in the Times occurred, drivers have killed over 15,000 people. Less than 30 have been killed by people cycling.
