So the Ontario government’s bike lane removal will be expensive and dangerous to cyclists and won’t help traffic (per a Toronto city report) and the closing of supervised consumption sites will kill people and further strain healthcare and won’t help public safety

These #Toronto floods were caused by massive government blunders: rather than building at urban density, we let post-WWII highway sprawl asphalt the headwaters of the Don River. Now Ontario wants to replicate that mistake in the Humber watershed, with #413. #HandsOfftheHumber

Bill 185 allows developers to bypass cities and regions to head straight to the OLT to convert cheap farmland to riches. NO regard for flood risks, future cost to taxpayers, other planning concerns nor prioritization of SAVING our Class 1 soil.

NEW: Here's the turnout for #Mississauga's advance byelection polls, per to city staff. 3,321 less ballots cast than in the 2022 general election, which had 3 more advance voting days. On average, the 2024 advance polls had 6,182 voters per day, compared to 4,007 in the 2022.
