My entire life changed when I realized you have to sacrifice short-term freedom in order to earn long-term freedom. Instant gratification is the thief of your dreams. Sacrifice is the cost of entry. Delayed gratification is the key to the life you want.

Stop consuming so much of other people’s lives that you forget to live your own. Hour after hour, you watch how they travel, what they buy, who they love, how they succeed. Their highlights become your daily routine. And slowly, you start observing life more than you experience it. That shit makes you forget what 'you' want in life. Your mind fills with their stories, their goals, their timelines. But what about you? You're built different. Your needs are different. Think about it. Don't watch life as the side character in the movie of your life. Live it as the main character.
