@PolymarketBlitz He isn’t falling out of the top ten, so you all in the comments can forget it. If the Browns are smart, they will draft him, assuming he’s still available.
English

@PJStarlissimo Stand on it, brother. People will clown on you for saying this, but he can be one of the greats. It is going to be a long road for Shedeur, but he has a leg up now, unlike last season. What he needs is a true WR1 and at least an average offensive line for the Browns to compete.
English

@0H__I0 @tha_buffalo 6’0” is hardly small for a safety. The average in the league is 6’0” to 6’1” (72–73 inches); he is the total package. He committed to Alabama to play for Nick Saban, but when Saban retired, he went to Ohio State. It would not be a stretch to say he was a “do-it-all” player.
English

@StormdriftRain @tha_buffalo Downs might end up being too small for the NfL. He’s not a sure thing either.
English

@StormdriftRain @SleeperBrowns Baseless take he made a lot of great contested throws this season and is also way more mobile than Shedeur not saying the browns should take him but he’s definitely a better prospect than Shedeur was. Side note if people are open than the OC is doing a good job

Listen I'm not saying take a QB just to take a QB but I get why the Browns would be interested in Ty Simpson

@jaThomas24 @Inglishbanks @thedawgspodcast By a long shot, too. People forget how bad he was playing for the Browns.
English

@Inglishbanks @thedawgspodcast Watson still had better circumstances than shedeur.
English

"There is so much demonstrated evidence of Deshaun Watson being a really good NFL quarterback, and we have none on Shedeur."
Albert Breer gives Shedeur a 30% chance to win the Week 1 starter spot over Watson.
Quick reminder, here’s how both QBs performed in their most recent game action:
2024 Deshaun Watson (7th NFL season):
🔴 7 games (1-6 record)
🔴 1,148 yards
🔴 164.0 YPG
🔴 5 TD
🟢 3 INT
🔴 33 sacks (4.7 per game)
🔴 148 rush yards (1 TD)
🔴 6.3 yards per scramble
2025 Shedeur Sanders (1st NFL season):
🟢 7 games (3-4 record)
🟢 1,400 yards
🟢 175.0 YPG
🟢 7 TD
🔴 10 INT
🟢 23 sacks (3.3 per game)
🟢 169 rush yards (1 TD)
🟢 9.3 yards per scramble
It’s also worth noting that Watson had the better receiving corps and the better offensive line.
The odds might be a little higher than 30%. What do you think?

@spidadmitchell I don’t watch much basketball, but I’ll tune in for this one tonight. The Cavs still have a lot to play for, and the Magic are a formidable opponent, but I think they can get it done this time around. Good luck out there, Spida! 🏀

@hotfriesnqtpies @RouteUniverse9 Carnell Tate would be a WR1 at any school in the country had he not committed to Ohio State all four years. He was vying for playing time against receivers like Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka, and Jeremiah Smith. It is understandable why he wasn’t as productive.
English

@StormdriftRain @RouteUniverse9 guess we’ll see next month. tate is literally the worst WR prospect to
come from OSU in a while.
olave
garrett
marv
jeremiah
jaxon smith
all clear him significantly
English

@ijimlaheyy @NickPedone12 All they would have to do is watch his play in the SEC Championship. He shouldn’t even be a first-round pick. The hype around him is so fabricated because he’s an Alabama quarterback.
English

@NickPedone12 ‘Guys, I didn’t watch a second of college football’
English

@hotfriesnqtpies @RouteUniverse9 It would be shocking if Tate even went outside of the top 10. There is no chance in the world that he would even fall to 24, let alone 39.
English

@StormdriftRain @RouteUniverse9 speak for yourself bud. tate at 24 or 39 is cool, NOT 6

I know you’ve all been waiting for it.
My seven-round Cleveland Browns mock draft is out now via Browns On SI.
No trades. All nine picks. And one big surprise.

"I think Ty Simpson is the best quarterback in this class."
Dan Orlovsky spoke the words that would take social media by storm.
In what world is Ty Simpson a better QB prospect than Fernando Mendoza?
"I think when you look at the body of work and what was asked of these two quarterbacks, you have to start with the question, who needed to do more to carry their football team to play well? Ty Simpson, and it’s not close."
Orlovsky’s co-host, Mike Tannenbaum (best known for his wild and unrealistic trade proposals), posted on X to support this notion.
"In talking to clubs this opinion is shared by other teams as well."

English

@cccbhfxxvh99444 @LJgyw5 @thedawgspodcast It’s easy to rack up numbers if you’re not a half-bad quarterback in a less competitive conference like the Mountain West or Conference USA. That’s not the same story for the Pac-12 (until 2023) and the Big 12. Injuries plagued Colt, and Zappe was a good QB in a bad situation.
English

@StormdriftRain @LJgyw5 @thedawgspodcast So? Should Colt Brennan or Bailey zappe be QBs you build around because they had great college careers? ( Sheduer was no where close to these guys in college)
English

There’s no QB in this class that will leap frog Shedeur Sanders. And Deshaun Watson hasn’t played good football in 862 days.
