❗️After the evacuation of the second pilot from the downed F-15E, the 🇺🇸United States was forced to destroy two HC-130J Combat King II search-and-rescue aircraft that were unable to leave 🇮🇷Iran for unknown reasons.
According to the New York Times, the aircraft were blown up on the ground to prevent their capture by Iranian forces after landing at an improvised refueling point. To continue the search-and-rescue operation, three additional HC-130J Combat King II aircraft were deployed.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US.
France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.)
Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors.
NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

Today’s phone call with Hungarian Prime Minister @PM_ViktorOrban also confirmed that we cannot fight the massive energy crisis at the national level alone.
Nevertheless, the governments of Slovakia and Hungary are doing everything they can to protect their national economies and citizens from the ideological blindness and incompetence of the European Commission, the ill will of the Ukrainian president, and the consequences of the war against Iran.
The EU, and especially the European Commission, should immediately resume dialogue with Russia and ensure such a political and legal environment that individual member states and the EU as a whole can replenish missing gas and oil reserves and enable supplies of these strategic resources from all possible sources and directions, including Russia.
Therefore, the senseless sanctions prohibiting the import of gas and oil from Russia should be lifted, a separate EU initiative to rapidly end the war in Ukraine should be launched, and decisive steps should be taken to restore the operation of the Druzhba oil pipeline.

Quick math tying it to the 1 TW target + 250W AI5 chips
1 TW = 1,000,000,000,000 watts of AI compute capacity.
Each AI5 chip draws ~250W Chips needed annually for 1 TW scale: 10¹² W ÷ 250 W/chip = 4 billion chips/year.
To produce 4 billion AI5 chips per year (the volume needed for 1 TW of compute at 250 W/chip), a Terafab-scale facility modeled on current TSMC fabs would require 3,000–5,000+ acres or land and 280–350+ million square feet of total building/floor space.
Obviously innovations must be applied.
I'd hazard a guess at a 100 million sq ft size factory.

No, that’s just the little advanced technology fab, where we will be iterating on chip designs. We couldn’t possibly fit the Terafab on the GigaTexas campus. It will be far bigger than everything else combined there. Several locations for Terafab are under consideration. It needs thousands of acres and over 10GW of power at full scale.
