The new Steam Controller has a problem for PC Game Pass users, it has no built-in Windows drivers so you can only use it inside the Steam app.
Game Pass games installed through the Xbox app are locked down on Windows 11. Steam can’t see them or control them, so the controller does nothing.
Want to play Forza Horizon 6 with your Game Pass subscription? You’ll have to buy the full game on Steam instead.
This is the same issue the old Steam Controller had years ago, back then, fans created a free tool called GlosSI that made it work anywhere on your PC.
That tool is still on GitHub and could get a quick update.
Valve could just release normal drivers and fix this for everyone, but they probably won’t, they want to keep everything running through Steam.
The community has solved this before, and it should happen again soon, so check GlosSI probably a fix could arrive soon

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch. Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license. If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect. This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.

Game studios abandoned 2D graphics too early. It's hard to get across how jarring it was going from the height of 2D to primitive 3D practically overnight.

@StraightUpShork @HiFi_Ghosty The over world models weren't trying to have proper proportions though, they were intentionally trying to be chibi in the way the games before it did. And even then the battle models are properly proportioned

@junestrings Weapon durability can be a good mechanic if balanced properly but then studios go and makes games like Breath/Tears where a perfectly good sword breaks after 7 enemies or Dark Souls where your durability never presents a threat so why bother even having it
