This is the last van load of my things leaving the @StrandArtsCentr . It’s time for me to move on to new pastures, as the building is closing for refurbishment. What began as a one-year ‘artist in residence’ opportunity turned into six incredible years. Thank you @MimiTurt

I popped into the @StrandArtsCentr information morning to hear the exciting plans for the refurb. The vision the team have for the Strand will give the community an inclusive arts space and attract visitors to the local area. Can’t wait to see the progress.

It’s #HeritageTreasures Day! We’re celebrating that work is underway to redevelop the Strand - NI’s last remaining Art Deco picture house The £6.5million redevelopment of the heritage treasure has received £1.23M funding thanks to National Lottery players.
