@StanleyBercovi1 @StrandedInNepal @grantshapps Except that the UK has a ''largely open border with India'' as well since India is on Amber. Land borders are not open between India and Nepal. Only Air borders. People who are not vaccinated need to quarantine 10 days in gov hotels. Not much different than the UK.

Hey @grantshapps 19.3% of people in Nepal are fully vaccinated. That is more than the following Amber countries: * India: 14% * Bangladesh 8.8% * Pakistan 10.7% * Egypt 4.2% * Kenya 1.6% When will #nepal be taken off the red list? This does not seem fair.

NEW: White House to revoke Covid travel bans for 33 countries from November, including the UK and EU. Travellers will have to be fully vaccinated to gain entry to the United States.

@lewis_goodall What vaccines accepted? According to @VOANews, it is uncertain under the new policy which vaccines would be acceptable to U.S. authorities, with [CDC White House COVID-19 coordinator Jeff] Zients saying that would be left up to the CDC.

TRAVEL UPDATE🔊: we’re making testing easier for travel 🧳💉 From Mon 4 Oct, if you’re fully vax you won’t need a pre-departure test before arrival into England from a non-red country and from later in Oct, will be able to replace the day 2 PCR test with a cheaper lateral flow.

Sri Lankan Airlines made debut flight today (31 Aug 2021) connecting Kathmandu direct to Colombo. Aircraft carried 132 passengers and departed with 149 passengers. Airlines will operate the flight using A320 aircraft twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday)@TIACAO2 @hello_CAANepal
