@Mikeggibbs The public has not been inundated with war movies as much as previous generations. They don't have a love of warplanes nor flying demos.

The Snowbirds simply do not have the same sense of connection with Canadians that they used to when we were growing up. You ask the average young person today if they've heard of the Snowbirds and 9.9 times out of ten they have no idea what you're talking about! So the glory days of The Snowbirds as an integral part of our identity are long gone. I say that with regret as someone who grew up in Kanata and worshiped them every Canada Day. I think Mark Carney has made the right decision: we need those pilots for fighter jets during a time of highened tension and threats to our sovereignty while we rebuild the military. The Snowbirds will continue as prop planes so they're not cancelled entirely but it will be scaled down. Note: it doesn't mean the RCAF stops doing airshows or flybys! This only affects dangerous acrobatic flying which arguably we shouldn't be spending public resources on anyway.

I genuinely thought the 15 Minute City conspiracy was the epitome of absurdity and the bottom of social media misinformation... I was wrong. Okay. I'm all for sex offenders getting their just punishment. March 23rd 2026 Bill Cosby lost a sexual assault case from 1972 and has to pay a victim $59 million dollars. My question is, if a 54 year old sex case can actually be brought forth and prosecuted after all these years, how and why aren't there one single arrest or indictment in the Epstein Files? Especially, when there are pictures, videos and testimonials (by the victims) of these rich millionaires and billionaires harming young girls. How and why is this being whitewashed?
