@WeBuyPinball @SpookyPinball Wonder if it's running the latest code...

How do I always crash Texas Chainsaw Massacre Pinball by @SpookyPinball?
You play as the cannibalistic Slaughter family, handling the “family business” of luring, capturing, killing, and cooking victims in a dark, gruesome twist on the usual hero narrative. It features strong shooting flow on a layout shared with Spooky’s Looney Tunes (designed by Spooky Luke and Corwin “Bug” Emery), with 4 flippers, 4 ramps, an interactive Leatherface door-bash toy, meat-grinder ball lock, and film-accurate theming/voice work (including original actor Edwin Neal as the Hitchhiker).

@PinballLive1980 @WeBuyPinball @SpookyPinball I have #82 -- it's been holding up great with over 2,000+ games played. Only once had to replace two servos.
English

@WeBuyPinball @SpookyPinball As an owner, I had to do a lot of work on my machine to get it 100%. Tons of QC issues from the factory. It's a shame because the game is amazing.

someone asked me why we started offering training alongside hardware.
honest answer: we kept selling gear to people who didn't know how to use it properly.
they'd get the router, hit a wall configuring RouterOS, and either call us frustrated or quietly return to whatever they had before.
so we became Canada's first official MikroTik trainer.
now the customers who go through certification actually deploy faster, build better networks, and come back for more hardware.
selling the knowledge alongside the product changed everything for us.

@davepl1968 Does a cab monitor show the AI playing in attract mode?

If you're curious what a "Special Interest" is like with ASD, here's an example of mine: Tempest.
I own three Tempest machines, an upright, a cabaret, and a cocktail (sit-down) machine. The high score on one of them was set by the game's author at the Atari Christmas Party. I have two spare monitors just in case.
I hold the official world record on Tempest using the most difficult settings (Extreme mode).
I reverse-engineered, disassembled, and documented the code from the game's ROMs on its motherboard.
Next, I then wrote a Reinforcement Learning AI to learn Tempest and exceed my play; it can play indefinitely.
I could go on, but I'll spare you the rest and summarize:
I really like Tempest.

@T3chFalcon and if you haven't seen it, I recommend watching Takedown!

Idk man, I'll say Kevin Mitnick.
At 12, he used social engineering to get into the LA bus system's punch card system, all for free rides.
In his 20s, he broke into Nokia, Motorola, etc. Using just a phone and his voice.
He also gained access to ARPANET, the military-funded precursor to the modern internet, through a university computer. This gave him access to some Department of Defense (DoD) and Pentagon-connected systems.
The FBI chased him for years. He stayed off the grid, moving from city to city and hacking while on the run.
When they finally caught him in 1995, his skills worried them so much that a judge banned him from using a phone in prison.
A PHONE.
He later became one of the world's most respected cybersecurity consultants.
He also has one of the coolest business cards that has also serves as a lockpicking set.

Who can tell me the story of the first hacker the world heard about?

Some guy tipped me ten dollars in quarters, and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of person thinks that’s acceptable. I just finished a DoorDash order, and he casually mentions he forgot to tip in the app—which, fine, not ideal, whatever. Then he dramatically pulls out a literal roll of quarters like he’s handing me the crown jewels.
He looks me dead in the eye and says,
“Sorry man, I didn’t tip on the app, this is all I’ve got.”
Yeah, thanks. I love holding a handful of coins like it’s 1998. I don’t use change. I’m not a parking meter. I’m not walking around with rolls of quarters or dumping them into a Coinstar just to get the money I already earned. I took it because arguing over coins isn’t how I planned to spend my day, but that doesn’t make it okay.
Tipping in quarters is peak absurdity. Tip in the app, tip in bills, tip digitally—literally anything that doesn’t involve me schlepping around loose metal. Acting like this is normal? Pure comedy. And yes, no one should ever think a pocketful of coins counts as a tip.

I’m at Sagamok’s Lifelong Learning Centre, back in the adult learning classroom, working on the final 2 credits I need to earn my high school diploma.
This afternoon’s goal is to finish my song analysis presentation and hand it in for grading, using AI to help me work through it in a way that is academically honest, transparent, and still my own.
I’ve already reached out to Rainbow District School Board to ask for clearer guidance on AI use in coursework. As far as I can tell, there is not yet a clear explicit policy that gives students and educators a practical framework for this.
That matters to me. I’m not interested in shortcuts. I’m interested in doing good work, showing my process, and helping push toward clearer AI policy that protects integrity, originality, and accountability.
Right now the focus is simple. Show up. Do the work. Finish the credits.
I’ll be posting about this daily as I move through it.

Is that Chainsaw (Dean Cameron) I see in the background!?
Bloody Disgusting@BDisgusting
Set in 1993, upcoming slasher 213 BONES aims to evoke the spirit of classic '90s slashers. @Variety reports, "It boasts a soundtrack of recognizable ’90s and alternative-era tracks from artists including Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and the Melvins."

@mister_price @WilliamShatner Try Shippsy. I've used it a few times to save on shipping to Canada.
English

@WilliamShatner Please find a less expensive shipper. I was very excited to purchase an item on an earlier auction, but their shipping costs to Canada were exorbitant… I had to abandon the purchase. I was glad that I still helped the charity, but really sad not to get my item.
