🇹🇷 Turkey... No one will be able to use their accounts on all social media platforms except after verifying their personal ID. The Turkish Minister of Justice “Akin Gurlik” said that Ankara has reached an agreement with social media companies whereby everyone must verify their identities in order to be able to use their accounts. According to the news, this step will completely end the process of anonymity that many use to escape legal prosecution, as well as eliminate what is known as “anonymous accounts”. Within 3 months, the implementation of the law will be completed, and every person on social media there will be held accountable for their words.

Crunchyroll breach: • ~1.2M emails confirmed (subset of a larger dataset) • Third-party vendor (Telus Digital) compromised • Malware → Okta SSO → internal tools exposed (~24h access) Data taken: • Emails, names, usernames • IPs + approximate locations • Full support tickets (billing issues, chats, activity logs) That means attackers know: • Your recent support conversations • Billing disputes or issues • Account activity patterns Enough to send highly convincing phishing. Timeline: • Mar 12 → initial breach • Mar 23 → ~6.8M emails claimed • Late Mar → data sold on forums • Apr 4 → 1.2M verified (HIBP) Crunchyroll says no passwords leaked. But context > passwords. What to do: • Change password (especially if reused) • Enable 2FA (authenticator app) • Check HIBP • Watch for targeted emails/SMS This was a supply-chain breach.

Without anyone knowing. Then we sent legal threats to the users we caught. The EU told us to open our platform to third-party tools. We published two restricted APIs. They handle 0.07 calls per second. Our internal API, Voyager, handles 163,000 calls per second. In Microsoft's 249-page compliance report, the word "Voyager" appears zero times. That's networking.
