The way soccer is played is anti-American. I will never get over these grown men falling to the ground acting like they just lost their leg after someone stepped on their toe slightly. Both my kids are travel soccer players and I love watching them play. But this sport rewards the weak. Also waaaayyyyy too much VAR.

So if the ball is in the air you can just run into the foot of a player just winding up to kick it and you get a penalty?! This sport is a JOKE and why us Americans will never really care about it. We don’t reward stupid tactics like this ✌️

@pekdaddy @TheDrugMoney Disagree. Like any route business, needs to be efficient. Pumping margins are relatively attractive in FL and the work is recurring in nature. Inspections and R&M work is where you can print. Issue is TAM in certain regions I guess

@StressedBizGuy @TheDrugMoney People think this does, but it actually does not. Septic tank pumping has very low margins. Installing septic tanks and fields is a different story. At least this is my experience in Michigan.

Spent most of today texting with other manufacturer business owners getting advice on managing people. In these exchanges I am always reminded how much of a wimp I am. Over-capitalized, not making massive bets on potential customers, etc. It’s always humbling and exciting to talk to peers that have lofty 8 figure EBITDA goals that unapologetically share all the expensive things they want to buy. It’s exciting to be around to be honest.

That must be mentally freeing.” Me: "I just got into a screaming match with my XPO rep as they are refusing to pickup two pallets setup for pickup by GM Canada because they claim the paperwork doesn't have appropriate information for customs. I've been dealing with this for an hour and am refusing to let the driver leave without these two pallets, as I am 100% sure they are wrong. Also two team members are unexpectedly out today so the bags I promised we would ship today to Braintree, MA, won’t ship. Customer is livid.” Buddy: “Sounds like a normal day for you." Me: (sigh) “Yup.”
