@Strife212 It's not the same thing tho? I'm pretty sure time to show refers to time between clicking to launch the app and it being open and ready to go? You don't open cyberpunk 120 times per second

Remember the security firm that Ubuntu hired to audit the (ill-advised, highly buggy) Rust-rewrites of all of the GNU Coreutils?
Turns out that security firm is run by @gf_256, who:
- Appears to be a man who thinks he's a woman ("trans").
- Uses an anime cartoon of a girl as his avatar.
- Appears to have an OnlyFans page.
I repeat: Ubuntu hired a "Trans" man, with an anime girl avatar and an OnlyFans page... to audit Rust code.
It's hard to get more on-the-nose than that.

My take is that the game is all about faulty memories and cycles so the sense that you’ve somehow all seen this before is on purpose, and it's quite a clever to give the player the same uncanny feeling that the character has

my un-asked-for signalis take is the first time i played it i was so put off by the amount of overt references within the first 30 minutes that when i came upon a locked safe, i remarked out loud "if the combination to this is 0451 i'm uninstalling the game" and it was so i did

@Strife212 @puddle_spirit This take shouldn't be viewed as contrarian. "Copies of copies" and "cycles" are the crux of Signalis' structure.
Uninstalling a game because of said references suggests that just because a viewer recognizes a reference doesn't mean they'll immediately understand its utility.
