Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta, Andoni Iraola, Unai Emery, are all Spanish coaches and are great tactical coaches and successful. Why have Manchester United never signed a Spanish coach for once, instead they sign; Portuguese, Dutch, English but never a Spanish coach? We should have signed pep Guardiola but went for David Moyes. Now we should have gone for Andoni Iraola but went for Michael Carrick. Wow.

Manchester United are appointing Carrick as permanent manager for two years? they might as well admit they have learnt absolutely nothing since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. The biggest club in England cannot keep handing out jobs based on vibes and memories from 2000 A manager with potential, but nowhere near proven enough for a club of this size. One emotional decision and everything left of this football club collapses.

Under Amorim; Bryan Mbeumo 7 goals and 2 assists Amad diallo 2 goals and 2 assists Matheus Cunha 6 goals and 1 assist. Sesko 2 goals and 0 assist. (Went on injury) Under Carrick. Bryan Mbeumo 2 goals and 1 assist Amad diallo 0 goal and 0 assist Matheus Cunha 3 goals and 1 assist Benjamin Sesko 7 goals and 1 assist. Under Ruben Amorim, everyone was a contributor, it was more of a team performance cause there is a system of play. Under Michael Carrick, some players are left out, it's more of individual performance and Bruno is back to being our only source of creativity. We are going into next season, without Casemiro set piece threat, goals which had saved us points. Carrick has made our attackers look lost in his no style of play, instead of our attackers to be firing and being creators and goal scorers, they more like a dummy waiting for Bruno ball.

The people running Manchester United on NUMEROUS occasions have reiterated they're targeting winning the Premier League by 2028. Yet people are still out there questioning their ambition for hiring a head coach that has beaten every one of his big six rival managers in the space of four months, and qualified them for UCL. While they have spent 2 summers clearing the immediate financial difficulties the club were facing. While going into a summer where UCL is secured, more problem contracts will be offloaded, the midfield is FINALLY intended to be fixed, and there's more scope than there has been in years to spend aggressively enough to get the squad to where it needs to be. They are working to a timeline. They have 2 years to reach the target they themselves have set. it's time to kick on this year but IMO you CAN'T draw negative conclusions yet just because they made a decision on the head coach you don't like.

If Michael Carrick didn’t have Manchester United nostalgia attached to his name, would people rate him above managers like; • Daniel Farke (Leeds coach) • Rob Edwards (Wolves coach) • Michael Jackson (Burnley Coach) These three are Michael Carrick Level of coaching and there’s no difference apart from level of quality players at disposal. Giving Carrick the job is like giving Daniel Farke the job or even Michael Jackson cause he got champions league spot. They don’t have what it takes to go to the next level and same with Carrick. They are mid tier managers/coach just like Carrick and that will always be their level.

Even with new players, Carrick's system won't get us far next season. Look at Liverpool. Slot won the league last season, signed elite players like Isak, Wirtz, Ekitike, and Co. Fast forward to now, they're fighting Villa and Bournemouth for a UCL spot. Why? Slot changed his style of play. Even the best players look average under his system. It's the same with Micheal Carrick. Performances have been deteriorating since he came in. No matter who we bring in, with Carrick as manager, we will be fighting for 10th next season.

@Cantonadevils Amorim is a nice guy but incompetent and inflexible. Can't even win back to back games so there you go. If you are working you need to get on with your manager or your boss. You can't be a maverick. Not going to happen here, Chelsea, Madrid, Barca and the list goes on.

Manchester United Board; - They Gave Ten Hag an extension when we were as bad as Derby County. - They Sacked him a couple of months after - Brought in a "systems coach" mid-season. - Sacked him because they refused to strengthen/back him in January transfer window. - Brought in Carrick as a caretaker who was previously sacked by Boro. - They gave Carrick the permanent job After getting the champions league when they should have signed a better coach out there. - Back Carrick with signings to play his football. - “Sack Carrick in November/December cause he was inefficient and couldn’t handle the job” - “Make Steve Holland become the interim manager”. And it’s a merry go round.
