My clients are always asking about my trips saying they want to see the northern lights. I’ve told so many of them over the past 2 years that they should let me know if they want to visit Fairbanks and I’ll take them chasing if our dates line up. One of my regulars just texted me saying they booked flights, and asked if I’ll be there at the end of next month! 🥹 so insane that I just booked my flights and this happened. I can’t wait :,)

Biggest regret of 2026 is not getting my camera out for this lmfao. Literally had both of them in the passenger seat ready to go, but I was alone and the on ramp to the main eastbound road ended up being closed. Had to pivot to a super windy narrow road with dense trees on both sides and got stuck behind a semi going 15 under for several miles. Couldn’t see shit and was overwhelmed because how am I supposed to read a map when I’m literally just a girl? I was so focused on getting out of there that once I finally had visibility I just stopped the car and basically levitated out of it without grabbing my stuff. I figured it would be another 30 second tornado because 2026 so didn’t want to miss anything. Once I realized that it was in fact not going to disappear I got a few really bad pictures that will never see the light of day, but completely missed the structure lol. Oopsies
