After 3 and a half years of work, we are shutting down Sidekick and WhatIsTime. It's been our passion to create better crypto products for users and use them to win together, yet we haven't been able to achieve the results we were working towards. We're going to keep mintsniper.com online as long as we can, as it continues to see usage across multiple chains. The rest of our sites and apps will be shutting down soon. Ending things is hard, and we exhausted every possible avenue before making this decision. I hope this ending though can lead to the beginning of something better in the future for everyone. @BobbyRoss_ART It totally can - using OpenAI's image generator just costs for every generation, whereas you can get similar results from other platforms without having to pay. I can build it - knowing the end use case (like giving quotes to people asking a contractor) helps make a better app.

You don't need to know anything about code or AI to get started either - I bet most people can learn how to vibe code their very first website and app and have it hosted within 48 hours for $0. It's incredibly powerful technology, and will empower a whole new set of builders.

Thinking of starting a group for people who want to learn more about and build with AI. Focus would be on creating new things together. A sort of "learn how to build with AI" community for anyone who wants to see what they might be capable of. Does this sound interesting?

Heavily subsidizing frontier models promotes unsustainable business models, where only AI model providers and hyperscalers would thrive eventually. This time around, we can prevent another tech era fueled by ads. I’m grateful more product builders are being upfront about it 🙏
