@goffrugbyreport They are just not good enough. MLR is not growing internationally capable players and the selection is dubious. Our second strong team didnt even have to get out of third gear.

The standard of @MLS refereeing is shocking. We won 3-0 last night and the entire stadium was still furious with the ref. I know we need them to play a game, but they make it all about them, no consistency, no game control and worst of all….lazy decision making. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Blame the ref all you want. He wasn’t very good but it wasn’t his fault. Wasn’t his fault we didn’t execute, or that we showed poor discipline at the wrong times, or that we couldn’t put the game away. Yes, he made a good few mistakes…but this was all on Townsend & his players.

Liverpool are a brilliant team no doubt. But fewer things are more enjoyable than watching them whine and cry. Huge point for Everton.
