As the first one in my family to attend/graduate from college (parents/grandparents on both sides did not have an opportunity), PELL grants were the only way (well other than being buried in loans) + working that made my education possible. #doublepell

Pres. Biden's request for an $8370 #Pell would raise the purchasing power to approx. 36% for 1st time since 04-05. During its first 15 years, the grant covered at least half of the cost at a 4yr public. NCAN's goal is to return the purchasing power to 50% through #DoublePell
