Two feet severed before they could walk through life... Dreams withered before they could bloom... A childhood stolen before it could experience its innocence...
Four-year-old Batoul has known nothing of this world but pain, tasted nothing but the bitterness of loss. What is the sin of this innocent soul? What is her fault in wars she did not start? What crime has she committed in a world that has lost its humanity?
She endures what even the mightiest mountains cannot bear, and she smiles despite her small body bearing wounds that will not heal. What strength in weakness, what innocence amidst cruelty!
If only our hearts could encompass her pain... If only our hands could reach out to help her... If only the world's consciences would awaken to the cry of an innocent child...
Batoul... You are stronger than what has happened to you, and greater than all this pain 💔

When Palestinians kill more than 850 Israelis, they call it the most barbaric antisemitic massacre since the holocaust.
When Israel kills 850 Palestinians, they call it a ceasefire.
Assal Rad@AssalRad
Ending that sentence with “since the ceasefire” is actually insane.

This is the most important image of the 21st century to date. Study it. Never forgive. Never forget.

@MirabelTweets1 Who was behind that bizarre pile of crosses for people to carry? I can’t think of many things less “British”

I still remember that day when I passed by the tank, raising my hands. Next to me was a female soldier, her eyes bulging with a malice that could cover the world. In her hand was a weapon I was seeing for the first time, and she was screaming foul Arabic words, cursing the Divine, though she couldn't pronounce the words correctly.
I thought to myself then: What does this woman want? Does she want to kill me? Does she want to humiliate me?
At that moment, I wanted to tell her: 'Shoot me in the head, kill me.'
But I held back when I looked behind me and saw the children and women being dragged like animals; I didn't want to cause them any more harm.
So I walked. I walked, carrying a wound in my heart that even the greatest doctors could never heal—a wound I am afraid to speak of even to myself. I wish I had been killed that day instead of continuing my life; a life I feel so deeply ashamed of. Whenever I want to hold my head high, I remember that day, and I lower it.

@SamarDJarrah @WJGunning Yes. Up until now we have only heard one narrative.
Brainwashing.

A young technician came to install a dishwasher today.
He asked me where I was from. I said: Palestine where Jesus was born.
Then he asked quietly: “What do you think about what’s happening?”
I told him it was horrific.
What happened next stunned me.
He became visibly emotional… angry even. He said:
“We know the truth now. Before, people only knew what the media told them. Now we see everything ourselves. They are killing babies. They are killing children. Entire neighborhoods are being erased. They say it’s to get one man, one ‘terrorist’ — but they level whole cities.”
This wasn’t an activist.
Not a professor.
Not a politician.
Just a young American worker installing a dishwasher.
For decades, many Americans only heard one narrative.
Now millions are watching raw videos, doctors, journalists, parents, and children documenting reality in real time.
Something is changing in America.
