@TheDisInsider Really hope this doesn’t mean screen based rides like Shanghai…..

@DLPWorks I do not like the style of this. Recent work has seen the erasure of character from Disney village. This false “elegance” of design is in reality, lazy and uninspired. Looks like an IKEA showroom.

[News] ⚠️🚨 The world’s largest McDonald’s has opened!
➡️ Developed over more than 5 years with an investment exceeding €20M. Here are some record-breaking figures, making it the largest McDonald’s in the world, surpassing the Orlando location:
➖ Over 2,000 sqm of floor space, across a 3 floor building with elevators,
➖ A total of 800 seats, including 200 outside!
➖ 23 self-order kiosks, 210 Cast Members (with 16 languages spoken), including 50 new hires compared to the previous 160 staff,
➖ A 3-level children’s play area & a dedicated McCafé space.
➡️ 🏗️During its design phase, #McDonalds introduced major operational upgrades specifically built for peak guest flow, as the former location was already among the busiest worldwide:
➖ Dual kitchen system, including 5 dumbwaiters serving all levels,
➖ Table ordering via QR code and geolocated table service, with made-to-order preparation.
➡️ 📊Among the shared figures, the restaurant was developed with sustainability in mind, with 75% of raw ingredients sourced from French agriculture, as well as:
➖ Positive Energy & Carbon Reduction architecture (RE2020 compliant), targeting BREEAM “Excellent” certification
➖ Installation of 250 sqm of solar panels, 350 sqm of green areas, and a 120 sqm living wall
➡️ A flagship addition as part of the ongoing transformation of #DisneyVillage in #DisneylandParis!

@RebellionJason Good morning Jason- looking forward to listening to this, any advice on getting my novel published- have been trying for 4 years now. Lots of positive feedback from publishers but ultimately they never want to take it forward! Appreciated and love the channel.

@the_irishguy well then…. What was the “If Sunderland win” forfeit?

@castlehunteruk @hevercastle Magical Hever. A site where the past hangs heavy, as if the stones and ground itself mourns.

@HiddenYorkshire Having not read the novels- I watched the first few seasons and stopped. As a main character he was entirely unlikable and one of the stupidest MC’s created. Ruined the show for me.
English

Hi @YouTube can you explain why you played TWO horror movie trailers (with blood) in the middle of my sons Super Mario Brothers video?
English

@HiddenYorkshire Normalise FUN movies again- not everything needs to be made for Cannes or arthouse cinema- sometimes I just want silly escapism

@BillGates can I borrow £50?
The Chronicle of Philanthropy@Philanthropy
The @gatesfoundation will close in 20 years, @BillGates announced today. By 2045, the foundation is expected to spend roughly $200 billion — the largest amount a private foundation has ever given away. Gates said he wants to accelerate grantmaking for the causes he has championed over the past 25 years, including malaria and TB vaccine development, HIV prevention, U.S. education and maternal and child health. @HiddenYorkshire The guy from STEPS has had a long and storied career it seems!
English

@HiddenYorkshire Sharpe is constantly presented as an underdog, he isn’t a posho with money, he is an urchin who gets ahead by being (as the book reminds us constantly) lucky and instinctive. As a working class boy, his origins and constant battles against his “betters” always stuck with me.
English

@HiddenYorkshire Am on a quest to read 100 books this year. I have cheated by starting with the Sharpe novels because every one feels so similar and follows the Zelda game dungeon design - earth world fire world water world boss ! But as a character he is far more likable than Uthred!
