Maybe not a lie but definitely a distortion of the truth to appease fans. When you say 2 have signed and ink is dry you know full well people will infer that to be new signings. Getting quite sick of the club saying things that turn out to be bollocks. Just keep your mouths shut

We will do and say things that people disagree with, that’s football and absolutely fine. I do struggle with the narrative that we would “lie” to fans - we take pride on integrity. 2 signed and were shared, the other was trickier due to paperwork, but should be done this week.

@bensadler12 My criticism comes from the wording of the comments. I think you know that saying the ink is dry on 2 was going to lead people on. It’s not the first time I’d say the wording from the hierarchy has been poor. We appreciate communication but only when we feel it’s open and honest.

@KamCavanagh There the only two I’m bothered about I had a soft spot for lakin also but think it was time for a fresh start for both of us tbh also might be me reading between the lines too much but I have a feeling we are looking at a formation where lakin comley and jellis don’t suit
