@Bugimus When using a thermal camera to get video of a sasquatch, set the device to white hot and leave it there. White hot gives the most fine detail in the image. The other color palettes are fun, but degrade the image quality. When it comes to bigfoot evidence, every pixel matters.

Thermal Evidence from Springbrook: Australian Yowie Research Documents Two ~9ft Figures on April 4, 2021 We hear so much about our Bigfoot that sometimes we forget his relatives hail from all around the world. Australia is no exception. Here is some genuinely compelling footage of the Yowie — props to AYR for working hard to gather this evidence. Why hasn’t this received more attention? Check it out! On the night of April 4, 2021, members of Australian Yowie Research (AYR) were deep in Springbrook National Park, Gold Coast hinterland, Queensland — one of Australia’s most consistent Yowie hotspots with reports dating back to the 1970s. Led by veteran investigator Dean Harrison (25+ years in the field), the team included Buck Buckingham operating a high-quality thermal/FLIR camera, along with Gary Lynn and Shannon Guthrie. While panning dense scrub roughly 60 metres up a trail near a large stump and tree, Buckingham captured two distinct large humanoid heat signatures. The thermal footage clearly shows: • Two bipedal figures estimated at 8–9 feet (2.4–2.75 m) tall, based on tree comparisons and on-site measurements. • One figure “hugging” a tree trunk with arms wrapped around it, head tucked in — appearing to deliberately conceal itself. • Both figures stepping out from cover into the open. • One bending down and extending an arm, as if picking something up. • Complete silence on arrival and departure. The figures only appeared because the camera was actively scanning. They looked toward the team before quietly moving off. The AYR team had conducted multiple thermal expeditions in the area in the weeks prior. Upon review, they were visibly excited — Harrison described it as some of their strongest evidence to date. Springbrook’s steep, thick rainforest offers perfect cover for something large and elusive. The region has a documented history of 16–16.5 inch footprints, stick structures, and upright hairy sightings. This is pure thermal imaging — glowing humanoid outlines with broad shoulders and purposeful movement. The deliberate concealment and silent behavior make it stand out. I find this footage very compelling. The size, stealth, and specific actions are hard to explain away. I’m convinced the Yowie is just as real as Bigfoot, and this 2021 encounter from a dedicated Australian team is some of the best thermal evidence out there. Props to Dean Harrison, Buck Buckingham, and the entire AYR crew for their boots-on-the-ground effort. What say you after watching the best bits? 👣🦘 #Bigfoot #Yowie

First time anyone livestreamed a thermal drone and a handheld thermal at the same time. We learned a lot about how to put everything together despite struggling with Starlink signal strength. #bigfoot youtube.com/live/JLgLeYsPn…

ATTN All Bigfoot Researchers >>> This is the map for remaining BFRO Bigfoot expeditions in 2026. Some states will be having more than one expedition: - Ohio will have three (3) bigfoot expeditions. - Washington will have two (2) bigfoot expeditions. - New Jersey will have two (2) bigfoot expeditions. The red dots on the map indicate the expeditions that are already sold out for 2026, but you can request to be added to the call-back list for 2027 trips. For details on these trips (which are open to the public) see bfro.net/news/roundup/e…

@BigfootForensic Well done on keeping it real. There is almost always a real physical or psychological explanation for what many claim is paranormal. 👍🏼💯

@BigfootForensic 👍🏼💯 Excellent alternative explanation for wood knocks. Do you think in this case that the chipmunk's chucking call is reflecting off the board and is being enhanced by the echo chamber beneath the deck, thereby making it sound more like a wood knock than normal? 🤔

Tinkerers of Dust: How This Christian Views UAP ‘Creation’ Claims Several recent government whistleblowers have suggested the human race may have been “created” by non-human intelligence. In my view, this doesn’t mean they created us in the ultimate sense. I see it as our bodies possibly being genetically engineered, tweaked, or altered—aliens as tinkerers of dust, working with the raw material God provided. The Bible doesn’t give us a scientific lab report on the “how.” Genesis 1 tells us the “who” and the “why”: God created the heavens and the earth, and humanity in His image. We are eternal souls placed in physical vessels—our bodies. Our souls cannot be created or destroyed by anyone but the Creator. That’s why Congressman Tim Burchett’s recent response resonates so strongly with me. When people tried to discourage him from pushing for UAP disclosure by saying it contradicted his Christian faith, he replied: “I’m a Christian, and they appealed to me on that level. ‘Burchett, this stuff’s kind of anti-Christian in your beliefs.’ I said, ‘No, it isn’t. Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth.’” Exactly! Any real “tinkerers” would still be part of God’s creation—not rivals to the Creator. This perspective actually echoes ancient Jewish and early Christian thought. The Book of Enoch—an ancient text valued by the early church and quoted in the New Testament (Jude 1:14-15)—describes heavenly beings called the “Watchers” who descended and interacted with humanity in mysterious ways. While interpretations vary, it offers a historical window into how our spiritual ancestors grappled with powerful non-human intelligences operating in our world. In the multi-layered cosmology of Scripture and the early church, humans are earth-bound, yet there exist “middle kingdoms” where principalities, powers, and spiritual forces move and act in ways we cannot fully comprehend (Ephesians 6:12; Colossians 1:16). Everything in these realms remains under God’s sovereign design. Far from threatening my faith, such ideas remind me how vast and mysterious the Almighty’s creation truly is. What do you think? Does the idea that we were ‘created’ by ETs disrupt your beliefs? #UAP #UFO #Disclosure

@mamalechesocial Many think it's weird to be interested in sasquatch, but it's only because they've never had an authentic encounter with one. Folks just don't know what they don't know. If knowing sasquatches exist makes us weird, then we fully embrace it and choose the 1st option. 🙂

There are 3 types of people: 1. Those who fully embrace being weird. 2. Those who try to hide their weird. 3. Those who don’t even realize they’re weird. Where are the proud weirdos at? We are the most authentic breed of people alive. I want you in my corner on X. 🤝

@chionerin Finally someone addresses Bigfoot from a biblical perspective. I've had a hard time finding a Christian take of Bigfoot. It's not easy being I know people that are obsessed unfortunately.

With the new Capturing Bigfoot documentary stirring up massive controversy in the Bigfoot community — it premiered at SXSW this March with alleged 1966 “rehearsal” footage that many are calling a potential death blow to the Patterson-Gimlin film — it feels like the perfect time for a refresher on Roger Patterson himself. We all need an honest look at who he was, including his real strengths and weaknesses, amid the heated debate. Roger Patterson (1926–1972) was an American rodeo rider, talented artist, and dedicated cryptozoologist whose passion for Bigfoot turned him into a legend. Born in New York, he moved to Yakima, Washington, where he excelled in rodeo and created wildlife sketches with impressive anatomical precision. Despite battling chronic health issues like diabetes (and later cancer), his fascination with the creature began in the late 1950s after hearing Pacific Northwest sightings. By 1959, he was actively interviewing witnesses and trekking through the forests, quickly becoming one of the key early figures in Bigfoot research. In 1966, Patterson self-published his book Do Abominable Snowmen of America Really Exist?, blending folklore, witness interviews, and his own detailed drawings to argue that Bigfoot could be a relic hominid. The book gained modest attention and helped secure funding from investors like Floyd Paxton. Strengths: undeniable artistic talent, pioneering spirit, and relentless enthusiasm that helped transform a regional legend into a worldwide phenomenon and inspired countless researchers. Weaknesses: he faced ongoing financial struggles, and some allege he staged minor hoaxes — like fake footprints he referred to as “awareness exercises” — to build interest and support. His defining moment arrived on October 20, 1967, along Bluff Creek in California. Accompanied by his friend Bob Gimlin, Patterson filmed a remarkable 59.5-second clip of a large, bipedal creature — soon dubbed “Patty” — using a rented 16mm camera. The Patterson-Gimlin film captured a roughly 6.5–7-foot figure walking with a distinctive, fluid “compliant” gait that many still find striking. Patterson viewed the footage as groundbreaking proof on par with major scientific discoveries, while Gimlin, who largely avoided the spotlight, consistently stood by its authenticity. The film immediately sparked intense debate that continues to this day. Believers, including primatologist Grover Krantz, praised its biomechanical details, arguing that 1960s costume technology simply couldn’t replicate the creature’s natural movements and muscle dynamics. Skeptics, such as anthropologist John Napier, pointed to seemingly human-like proportions as evidence of a hoax. Later claims, including those in Greg Long’s 2004 book alleging Patterson hired Bob Heironimus to wear a suit, added more layers of doubt. Now the new documentary introduces additional alleged rehearsal footage and revelations that have the community reeling. I still believe it’s possible that Patty was real and that Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin simply got incredibly lucky with a genuine encounter that day. There is a profound irony in this story: despite all the drama, shenanigans, and alleged hoaxing surrounding Roger and those close to him, they may have actually filmed a real Bigfoot. One can only imagine how stunned they must have been in that moment — and how aware they were that their past sketchy exploits could later be used to torpedo the credibility of what might have been authentic footage. That irony has colored their lives and legacies ever since. Yet both Roger and Bob never wavered in their conviction that Patty was real. As Patterson reportedly said on his deathbed, “I am probably the worst person this film could have happened to.” I’m reserving full judgment on the new Capturing Bigfoot documentary until I’ve seen it myself. For many of us, the original film remains unproven but far from fully debunked. #PattersonGimlinFilm #Bigfoot #CapturingBigfoot
