@oldscarf1stweek The most likely thing that they did was a wind damage swath survey. Bet it’ll be on DAT as a wind swath. Some offices do this for squall line/QLCS events, some don’t

@oldscarf1stweek NJ did have a pretty potent 65-75MPH squall line push through is a pretty dense tree area. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s most of the reports

It turns out you can verify any outlook if your local office chooses to accept sub severe wind damage reports for certain events

A much-needed respite from severe weather begins today across the US, as an expansive ridge of high pressure builds over the western part of the country in concert with persistent troughing over the East Coast. This pattern looks to remain in place for at least the next week, possibly longer, which will shut off any severe weather potential across most of the US. However, a prolonged heat wave is expected for folks underneath this ridge; old daily record high temperatures should easily be broken for many cities out west in the coming days. Medium-range models hint at a potential breakdown of this ridge and a return to a more active pattern by the end of March, but that remains to be seen.

Northern Indiana thought they were different than everyone else and decided to do a Public Information Statement instead of a Special Weather Statement for the tornado test in Ohio. Lol #OHwx
