@bestinclassyt My guy, like 25% of consoles had this. I had this happen on mine, got a refurbished replacement, that failed like 6 months later, then got a third, THAT failed and finally got a good FORTH unit that lasted and I still have.

Domestic air fare is not going to get cheaper in this country, and we’ve ignored rail investment as we thought that cheap flights would always be a thing. That’s not the case, and now we have no rail as a viable alternative.

Yall don’t understand how bad it is for Spirit Airlines ending operations. There will be fewer options to fly. There are only so many other airlines. Fewer airlines = fewer choices. Which will make your Delta, United, Southwest, and American flight more expensive…..

I also had some pretty good experiences on spirit. And weirdly, their planes always felt newer than other airlines. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Delta flyer when I can but as you mentioned spirit was always great for a good deal.
I’m curious what failed in their model after 30 years?

Spirit never had a fatal crash let alone crash ever in their 30 years of operating. Idgaf I loved flying spirit. Especially when in emergency when my God mother passed and I had three days to make it there spirit charged me 127 dollars everyone else was charging me 350+.
