Originals need the extra effort in smart, effective promo. When done right, targeting the right audience and made consistently, the results come. And we had SEVERAL examples specially in the last 12 months.
Yeah, WOM is still important as always, but marketing is more important than EVER, for in order to generate that WOM, you need to make those people that will talk nice about your film get up of their sofas and sit their butts in a theatre seat first!

@ryanngravley@Luiz_Fernando_J to be fair as a game iron lung barely sold anything, but i do think that regardless 'youtuber' movies have the same kind of frontloading because of very specific audiences and very few walk ins
@StylianosCy@Luiz_Fernando_J Yeah I believe he said in his Thursday preview post for Iron Lung that most game adaptations are front loaded so we’ll have to wait and see but Send Help should come out on top.
