Nexstar’s $6.2 billion acquisition of Tegna would create the largest local television station owner in the entire country — and plainly violates Federal law. The FCC’s blatant disregard for the law cannot continue.

Try this… Make a playlist with songs from the year you were born, and then another for every 7 years afterwards. Make sure the songs are what you would have been hearing, so as a child you probably heard songs that your parents liked, as you got older you had your own tastes. Listen to each playlist for a day or two and then the next, and the next . . . The music will bring back memories from your past in ways that are surprising. The seven year separation in the music works to help your mind divide your memories. Cheers 🍻

@SenAmyKlobuchar Voting rights are for American citizens. States like Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, New York, . . . have made unlawful voting by criminal migrants their priority and we need to secure our elections.

Senator Murkowski makes it clear: legislation being pushed through Congress could make it harder for thousands of Alaskans and rural Americans — both Republicans and Democrats — to register to vote.   Voting rights should not be a partisan issue.

Enough is enough. We need to pay TSA workers, overhaul ICE, and stop the SAVE Act in its tracks.

Senate Republicans just blocked our efforts to pay TSA agents, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. Again.

I just signed a discharge petition, which would force a vote on legislation to pay our TSA agents, our Coast Guard, & FEMA workers. Our federal workers shouldn’t be held hostage because Republicans won’t come to the table to rein in ICE’s lawless operations.

@Hickenlooper The problem is your political party has ruined a good thing. No sane person believes that Colorado is preventing non-citizens from voting in elections. The only way to stop the fraud you are perpetrating against the American people is to require proof of citizenship and identity.

Mail-in voting is a win for everyone – Republicans, Independents, and Democrats. The so-called “SAVE America Act” would do the opposite: make it harder to vote and end universal mail-in voting. NO on the SAVE America Act.

Completely overhaul ICE or shut it down. Period. Senate Republicans blocked our effort to pay TSA and FEMA workers. Their DHS funding bill does absolutely nothing to rein in ICE’s lawlessness.
