@flatland_sports And it’s hilarious how they keep saying“well if we had a billionaire who funded our program too, they just don’t grow on trees” like there isn’t thousands of other donors that donate to this program they’d rather complain than come up with a solution sadly.
English

These comments are absolutely pathetic.
Cody Campbell is saying he wants the rest of the Big 12 to invest, improve, and elevate itself to a higher level, and somehow people are complaining about that.
There’s an old saying: if you’re the smartest person in the room, you need to find a new room.

Cody Campbell on the Fort Worth meeting: “We want to find a way to get all other Big 12 schools to elevate themselves. Everybody needs to do some version of what we've done. That's the path forward for this conference. A rising tide lifts all boats.”
English

@chrisbrowningcr @DanIsett Jesus dude stop falling for the idea that we’re just funded by one billionaire. We have a system set up in place where people can donate monthly on a subscription basis and a lot of people do that’s what Cody’s referring to so stop complaining and just figure it out.
English

@DanIsett Sure, if the other schools can find a billionaire we are all good. Techs situation is great, but it’s unique
English

@wikiphelia @DocBallerday23 @RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 And we got more then 1 billionaire small fry do some research
English

@SuaveJ20 @DocBallerday23 @RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 I bet I give more to Iowa State than you do to TT. You just have a billionaire that doesn't give a $hit about throwing money at no ROI. Congratulations! But don't lecture the rest of us. We have billionaires in Iowa, but they don't piss it away on kids like Sorsby.

Brett Yormark and Texas Tech executives recently met at a Fort Worth steakhouse to bury the Brendan Sorsby hatchet. A “tough” reconciliation process remains on-going. Meanwhile, the Sorsby saga continues: The NCAA has sent Cincinnati a letter of inquiry. yhoo.it/3QVvsmF
English

@wikiphelia @DocBallerday23 @RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 Then don’t complain about being irrelevant and having a dog shit program and I promise you don’t lil bro I’ve had a suit at the jones since leach you do the math on that and also tell those billionaires to pay up or keep that trap shut when it comes to real football
English

@DocBallerday23 @RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 Man nobody said you got money like that but if you want to compete at that level pony up lil bro so either sit and be quiet and accept the fate of getting ran every year by Texas tech or byu or yell at your school to get in the ring and pay up for better players
English

@SuaveJ20 @RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 Lololololol yeah man let me take my life saving to throw at my college athletics team…
He’s in the 1%. He could fund the entire conference if he wanted to. He knows not every school has a fat billionaire oil fuck willing to give potentially billions by the time this is over…..
English

@OSUJustin83 @RossDellenger Also it comes from a belief in your university that you’re capable of winning at the highest level which other big 12 schools aren’t. Joey sold us on the idea that we can win and everybody else bought in. I really believe OSU can do the same.
English

@SuaveJ20 @RossDellenger Take away Cody and you're back to where you were.
English

@OSUJustin83 @RossDellenger I take away Cody and that puts our donor base at 37,844 we still have dusty womble, John sellers, Patrick mahomes, buddy beach, terry fuller and Gary Paterson amongst many more I like osu bro I think yall are going to do great in the near future btw
English

@TrMiGr @CameronSchmoker @RossDellenger Hahahaha I didn’t say he was a great one I said he was a better one and spending 20m on a roster should get you better players didn’t he have the best wr in college last year haha keep crying lil bro money can’t guarantee wins all those school are examples of that.
English

@SuaveJ20 @CameronSchmoker @RossDellenger No one has thought Lincoln Riley was a great coach for like 3 years. He benefited at OU by just having a better roster than everyone else. Just like Joey is at tech now.
English

@OSUJustin83 @RossDellenger Bro Texas tech has thousands of donors not just Cody but honestly I’m rooting for osu to do better and pick up the weight I hope yall put the right structure in place to elevate the university.
English

@RossDellenger If only every school had a multi-billionaire donor that doesn't mind investing in something with no return.
English

@DocBallerday23 @RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 Why would he do that he’s telling other schools to pull there weight for national relevancy or get left to the g5 fact is if the big 12 wants to get more then 1 big in the playoffs every year they need to do more. Do better and donate to your bum university.
English

@RossDellenger @Bomb3r_CFBMafia @CodyC64 why didn’t you suggest double eagle be the sponsor for the Big12 if you really care about the entirety of the conference?
The truth is you don’t give a fuck about the conference..
English

@tryhrdrpls @TrMiGr @RossDellenger They don’t want to hear that… they would rather bitch about it because not even they want to donate to there sub par universities
English

Mr Wheat, are you donating anything to your school? That’s all he is saying. Everyone at each school just do what you can. Most seem to just bitch and wait for the savior to come in. Get all alums to Donate 25 bucks a month and all of sudden you have a good amount of money. Not that hard, but bitching is easier I guess.
English

@TrMiGr @CameronSchmoker @RossDellenger I mean usc alone spent 20m and went 7-6 with Lincoln Riley at the helm who everyone thinks is one of the better coaches in college football
English

@CameronSchmoker @RossDellenger They definitely have more than Cody I agree. But they went 8-5, 7-6, 8-5. Then bought the best roster in the conference and went 12-2. TTU took advantage of the NIL game and I don’t blame them. Without buying players McGuire is just an average coach.
English

@TrMiGr @CameronSchmoker @RossDellenger Also how you create a winning culture look at all the other schools that spent over 20m on a roster that went 9-4 or worse because there coach can’t create a winning culture ex. Auburn usc Michigan and Florida fact is he’s a great coach who’s knows how to win.
English

@flatland_sports I’ll tell you one thing bro I’m tired of this motherfuckin talkin from the media and other schools. I’m ready for them boys to spot the ball and knock somebody’s shit loose! Let the big 12 know who runs this shit!
English

The gaslighting from media on this whole thing has been incredible.
Matt Jones@KySportsRadio
Shorter version We wanted him to play, were willing to embarrass ourselves to do it…public opinion went against us and now we want to act like none of it ever happened
English

@SnGCorner @HPBAac @TechAthletics And this PR nightmare is filled by people like you not wanting to give a kid a second chance or grace all they’re trying to do is put him in an environment where he can learn and grow from the decision that he made
English

@SuaveJ20 @HPBAac @TechAthletics Why would they go through so much trouble making him eligible for football + endure a PR nightmare afterwards if they had no intention of playing him? They could end the uproar in a day by saying “he’s not playing”
English

@SnGCorner @HPBAac @TechAthletics This was all Sorsby and his legal team. They clearly stated they were not involved in any of the legal proceedings and why should they care what you or anybody else thinks they don’t have to tell you they’re not going to play him. They literally told you as of now he won’t play.
English

@BuckyReportJJ @TechAthletics @ESPNRittenberg And don’t forget it was the court who granted him the privilege to play a judge who graduated from the university of Houston and the judge that picked him graduated from Texas A&M.
English

Yeah I do hate giving them second chances when they actively intentionally do something wrong and are trying to shirk responsibility for it. If he wanted to show real remorse for his actions he wouldn’t have gone for the injunction in the first place. The only reason you do it is if you intend to try and play. He’s not owed the right to play football anymore than any other student. And his actions certainly don’t show that he’s trying to just do the right thing.
English

@BuckyReportJJ @TechAthletics @ESPNRittenberg Texas Tech has not awarded him the opportunity to play quite literally everything they said in the video hinted at him, never taking a snap, they clearly stated they want to put him in an environment where he can learn and grow.
