@ThoughtCrimes80 Just to be clear, it’s not a “fracking well pad”. All wells drilled since the early 2000’s get fracked. The fracking takes place thousands of feet below the surface in rock formations. There’s no risk to a reservoir. There is sometimes risk to aquifers depending on depth though.

One of the largest operators in Colorado wants to build a fracking well pad right next to Aurora Reservoir. I’m not well-versed enough in fracking operations, but since that’s drinking water, I’m curious about contamination risk?
